At A Glance Author Dawn Contact Dawn@bme.anon IAM Dawnie When It just happened Location Cleveland, Ohio When I saw there was a BME Cleveland area extravaganza party going on the weekend before Christmas, I just knew I had to go. So, I made plans to free my schedule so I could make the drive up to Cleveland, which is about 3 and a half hours away from where I live, in Hamilton, Ohio.
I was sort of bummed about not planning on having anyone ride up to Cleveland with me, I love to drive, however, prefer to have friends in the car. So, to my surprise the day of the party, Nikki (iam: now_more_again), Sarah (iam: walnut) and Megan (iam: serpenttitties) all decided that they would car pool with me up to Cleveland for the party! I was ecstatic to have the company and to meet Megan and Sarah for the first time in person!
Nikki, Megan and Sarah found my house just fine, and upon their arrival we chatted for a few, looked up directions to Cleveland and then we hopped into my car and we were on our way to Cleveland!
The car ride was fantastic, we all told funny stories, chatted about mods, talked about sex, and also chatted about a old place in my city that used to do tongue piercings and the such with earring piercing gun (scary, huh?). It was a riot, I think I laughed harder during that car ride than I have in a very long time! It was fantastic.
When we entered into Cleveland we followed the directions we had looked up and ended up lost, where I hit a poor nearly thirty pound raccoon and almost cried. So, after being lost for a while we made a call to Greg (iam: narcissist) to see if he could help us find our way to his and Jovana's (iam: Jovana) apartment.
We had passed their apartment quite a ways, but we finally got turned around and found our way to the party! So we parked, fed the parking meter tons of quarters and walked down the apartment, where Greg greeted us outside and welcomed us in.
There wasn't a ton of people at this party, however, it was a blast nonetheless. I got to see quite a few familiar faces, along with meeting some new IAM'ers as well. This was a very casual, comfortable and fun get together. Everyone there was super nice, and there was absolutely no drama, which is always a great thing!
There were two birthday boys at the party as well, so we all got to give them birthday spankings which is always fun!
The party basically was just a wonderful social occasion, and it was so wonderful to meet some new IAM people whom I have been chatting with for quite some time online, but had never met in person.
I chatted with Megan a bit about how I thought my nipple ring on my left nipple was starting to migrate, and after chatting about it for a while, I decided to go into the bathroom and take the one nipple ring out. Which was a big step for me, because I had been holding off and trying to salvage the piercing for quite some
time.
I found it quite amusing that so many of us logged into our IAM accounts while we were at the party; we are all such IAM addicts! It's always great to spend time with people whom share a similar interest and really bond.
I also stayed rather sober at this bme event, only have about a glass and a half of wine! I also kept my shirt on the whole time! And anyone who has saw me at other events knows I am not modest and I usually end up topless.
Because of weather conditions, Nikki, Sarah, Megan and I, didn't spend the night at the party, we headed back towards the Cincinnati area around 4:30 am and I then had my first experience driving in snow! It was sort of scary, but Sarah was super helpful with advice in driving in the snow. I hated every second of the snow filled driving home, and when we hit a rest area around 6am, we pulled off and bundled up in our jackets and sweaters and took an hour and a half nap. I was exhausted from all of the excitement of the party! When we woke up about and hour and a half later we headed back towards home, and finally drove out of the snow, which was wonderful, indeed!
We got back to my house just s, and poor Sarah had to work a few hours later, so she was a real trooper! Not to mention Nikki who had a two and a half hour drive herself to get back to her hometown in Kentucky!
I must admit, as soon as I got home, I collapsed into my bed, snuggled up, and slept for hours! I had some of the best sleep I have had in a while!
Overall, the Cleveland area extravaganza was a wonderful event full of great people, whom I sincerely enjoyed meeting and spending time with!
