So we had decided long before the actual wedding, that there was going to be a suspension intertwined somehow. I have known Derek of Body Rites of Indiana for a long time. Having so many piercings i posed no problem with the piercings, i have been waiting for years to get my first suspension. I have always wanted Derek to do my first suspension, my husband, also a suspension virgin, agreed this was the perfect time. We had decided to seperate the wedding and reception and have an invite only after party. This is where the suspension was to take place without the viewing of family and unintended guests.

So the wedding day came and everything was very hectic. I thought i was to go insane that day, all went well other than the stress. So the wedding went over without a hitch and people started to leave, all accept the after-party guests. Derek and Brent began to sit up the rigs. By this time I was starting to get nervous. I had to pee 100 times i swear, I just didn't know what else to do while they were setting up.
It was time...They were done.
So we decided my husband would go first. We were doing 4 6ga hooks in the upper back. I watched and Rev seemed to have no problem handling the pain so no problem right. Being so nervous I was extra scared that just having so much stress would increase the pain, I was wrong. The piercings were a piece of cake. Derek and Brent were so quick, with no hang ups at all! I couldn't wait to get to the suspension. They set the rigs so we could go up at the same time and still see each other, I loved it.
We stood facing each other while they hooked us up. Nervous but excited I sat in anticipation of the pain. They tightened the rigs to put some pressure on us before we went us, tender but not too bad, I was ready.
Ok lets go up.
They started pulling us up. That was more pain but not unbearable. We were at the time, time to stay.
I remember seeing Rev across me, it was amazing. I could feel my shoulder tighten up, that was uncomfortable. I could hear and feel Rev breathing to the best of his ability to rid himself of any pain.
Then it started.
I could feel myself go out of it a little bit. The last thing i remember was looking down and seeing derek under us. I was looking and my eyes were getting fuzzy. I remember saying Derek's name and that was it.
This next part is so hard to explain, I don't know if my mind in place of the pain sent me to another world or how that really works but I know I wasn't within myself at that time. I remember feeling so happy and feeling amazing, It was the most joy i have ever felt in my life. I don't really know what happend while I was out, only what i was told of what the others saw.
I came to with Derek and Brent there, Brent was saying my name. I opened my eyes and saw him and I felt great. From what I am told I was only up for 8 mins. When rev came to and saw me out of it and me not being my normal self, he got scared and made them take me down. So 8 mins. of pleasure i had. When I awoke I was sitting in a chair with a big fucking grin on my face. I wanted to go back up but didn't want to push it for one day, I figured i would let things be the way they were, I encouraged Rev to go up a second time. He agreed and went for his second time. I stood in front of him with the hooks still in my back, hold his hands and cuddling with is chest. He was up for a little while and he said it was time to come down. It was beautiful. Soon they took the hook sout of my back and burped it (for lack of better term). I think that part was amazing, it felt so good on my back, like a deep tissue massage. This was the most amazing day of my life.
After all was said and done, I was walking around for an hour or so feeling like I was still in another world, I was high. And I became addicted.
Though after and hour or so when my adrenalin finally went down, the pain hit me hard. All of it shot straight to the back of my head, I had the worst headache I have ever felt. When i get headaches, I get very nauceous. All I wanted to do at that point was vomit. Believe me I tried. But it wasn't happening. So I decided to lay down. So needless to say I missed the rest of my after party and saying goodbye to Derek and Brent. But after a few hours of sleep I awoke full strength and ready to have a real wedding night.
Derek and Brent made my wedding amazing, The suspension was the best thing that has ever happend to me. Letting my body and mind go through the pain and the pleasure I endured has opened up my eyes to a crazy new world. A new addiction bluntly.
