OK so I'm getting used to these little box things and it's about time I had an experience here on BME. I am Ginge owner and fattest piercer at Precious Norwich UK.

We have done many suspension and pulling rituals here in the UK and in the Nevada desert and also in Spain. This is a brief story of what we got up to whilst no-one was looking last weekend.

Yesterday 16/12/01 at about 3pm 11 people met at Precious for the Precious event of December. The crew were; Lesley, Hanna, Alex, Paul, Sam, Jesse, Lee and me for the pull, supported by friends Rich, Andy and Heather.

The building is closed on a Sunday so we had to wait for the heating to warm it up. No Problem, we waited about an hour during which time we centred ourselves and did some excercises to unite our energies, breathing and the like.

At about 4.15 the piercing started 2 hooks each 10g, 2.4mm Lesley and Sam first, pierced by me and Paul respectively then I pierced Hannah and then Paul, whilst Alex, Jesse and Lee pierced each other in tandem , two piercers one victim . Finally my turn, Lesley and Paul were my piercers today, Lesley is not a piercer she is my partner and was assisted by Paul.

I have Rhino skin, very tough and hairy, difficult to pinch-up, almost everywhere, so I dont relish the piercing bit of these things.

The testosterone and excitement was filling the air in the piercing studio, or something was! so retiring to the room set up for the ritual we got ready to begin.

The circle of seats was already arranged and drums set out. We used a cow skull, bought in mexico, you wouldnt believe the hassle trying to get a cow skull back from the US. It was carried as hand luggage from LA to Chicago and on to Amsterdam. The first bit was a mild hassle, but at Amsterdam (less than 100mls from home ) they were still worried about the foot and mouth thing in the UK and we had to wait an hour or so at a customs point just to see if I could take it further, as the centre totem representing mother earth.

I had designed a rope arrangement to connect all of us,imagine if you can 8 steel welded rings laid out in a circle start at one of them with the rope, miss 2 out and connect through number 4, 4-7, 7-2, 2-5, etc. until back at 1.

We again got centred after connecting our hooks to cord and a carabina and that to the welded rings.

Lee led the ohmm chanting for about ten minutes. Tingles of energy went up and down my arms and everyone elses ( I asked later ). we followed the chanting with some drumming and dance which made the bells we had tied to the central connecting cord jingle. We danced round in the circle which took a few minutes to achieve but we pulled it off safely. no pun intended.

Then we got cocky, we tried, unsuccesfully to lower a couple of people to the floor individually of course, as they leaned back we all took up the weight but at about 40 degrees both the guys who tried it lost their bottle /footing and fell nevermind the bells rang and we all had a laugh.

The whole pull lasted about 45 mins at the end we did some grounding excercises, sent the energy we had shared to the peacekeeping forces about to go into Afghanistan with the intent that it help them provide whatever services they provide with kindness and compassion. we realised a strange thing at the end of the event, everyone who was there was so involved, drumming and chanting, even the support team who were supposed to be taking photos and stuff that we actually didnt get any photo's of the event. Luckily I had set up a video camera which I had started just prior to the pull so we do have a record of it.

Lesley and I were sat at home later going over the events both verbally with each other and in our heads we were so energised by the whole thing.

Sam and Lesley were ritual participant virgins other than piercing for the odd suspension and both had a great time. Everyone else had a great time and we believe the world will be a better place for us doing this thing

Thank you for taking the time to read this. The event was fun, the intent was goodness, the place was Precious and the crew were fabulous. I know that each of them when they read this will have a lump in their throat by the time they get to here so I guess it is time to leave it for today.

To the crew I Salute you!

To readers I Thank you for your time and interest.

My last scentence just before disconnecting was this; My friends, we are indeed, f@%ked up, I thank you!!
