My name is Jessica Harmony Henline I am twenty-years-old and live presently in Vincennes, Indiana, attending Vincennes University as a Business Administration Major.

My roommate and Best friend, Jeremy Allen, is the piercing artist at Evolution Studios. Since I have met Jeremy I have acquired seventeen new piercing. While going through his apprentice I tried to help him the only way I knew how, being his pincushion.

Now eleven holes later I didn't think there was too much more the could do with my ears, and I cant have facial piercing because of work, it was hard enough getting away with the smiley and frowny. But Jeremy had other plans. Being licensed now he could move on to bigger and more eccentric piercing. He had decided on surface piercing for my wrist. The night before he had drawn it on my wrist with a marker just to see how it would look. Just from marker we knew it would be awesome. Once piercing would be straight across the wrist, behind the bend so the hand would still be useful during the healing. Two more piercing would come from the center of the first and diagonally out like a pyramid. They don't cross each other but are very snug to the first bar,

I passed out after my first two piercings, not done my Jeremy, so I was a little worried about these. I don't like needles, every other time I was poked I couldn't see the needles, so this freaked me out. I have seen Jeremy set up so many times and this time was still so different, looking down at the table with a needle on it I know is going to go into my wrist is a little intimidating. But I could handle it.

The first one he does is the top one across the length of my wrist. I like to think the clamp takes away half the pain. After the clamp is ready I can't look anymore not at the needle with Aand D smeared on it. "Take a deep breath," Jeremy said, there was a pinch and the needle was through. I thought it was okay to look at it then and Jeremy says I went pale. There was a needle sticking through my wrist in the middle of this clamp that is pinching the hell out of me, do you blame me? My color came back quickly. The transfer went great and off came the clamp. Jeremy put to blue balls on. On the left side of the right ball I was scratched by the clamp and that was the only spot that bled.

Next was the left side Diagonal. The piercing part went fine just as before but the transfer got messed up. Picking out the balls we didn't think if they would fit through the clamp. They didn't. So the jewelry had to come out. We tried to freehand push the jewelry back through but it wasn't working out so I told Jeremy just to stick me again. Using the open ended clamps this time worked much better. The blood flow really picked up and blood pooled on my arm and ran down my wrist, it was quickly cleaned up and the last hole was poked. Because it was the last piercing it hurt the most, but again I would have to blame most the pain on the clamps. Clamping so close to two new holes wasn't pleasant, but for art it doesn't matter. It started in the middle of the first piercing and came out diagonally perfectly symmetrical with the second one pierced. It was pierced fine and transferred with no problems. There was just clean up left to do. They bled a little more than any other piercing I've had. The more blood flow the quicker the healing so I was okay with that.

Right after they were all finished and cleaned they didn't hurt all that bad, there was just pressure and very little swelling, that wouldn't start until the morning. In the morning there was more pressure a lot more swelling and my entire wrist throbbed. I cleaned it with dial soap the first time and then soaked them in sea salt and cleaned with dial soap the second. The third clean of the day is just dial. That has been my routine for Five days now and they seem to be healing well. The swelling is close to being gone along with any pain. For work I have to wear a wrist band, which I think, helped with the healing. The pressure from the band forces out the puss. They all three move freely and don't give my much of a problem typing, writing, or any function.

I am very happy with the piercing and the reactions I get from people are priceless. You get the people who are grossed out and then the people who think they are the coolest things they have ever seen,

I am really going to enjoy them once they are completely healed. They are something you don't see every day and they have helped broaden a new piercing artist's abilities. "My body is a temple and I will design it as I see fit."
