Well I've been dying to have this done to myself. Since I have training in this area (Piercing) I decided why not. My friend and I were in my room one night and we were bored. I asked him if he wanted his hand web done and he said sure as long as you get yours done too.

First of I took his hand and sanitized everything. I took a 14G needle which I bought a week earlier since I get about 4 people to pierce every week. After I got everything clean and sanitized, I slid on my gloves and took the needle out. I told him to take a deep breath and slid the needle thru. He didn't know if it actually went thru or not since it didn't hurt at all. Then after he was comfortable I slid the barbell in while sliding out the needle at the same time.
I cleaned the piercing off with alcohol and took him to my bathroom to wash off the alcohol afterward.
For some reason I cannot inflict pain to myself so I asked him to do it for me. I positioned the needle where it was supposed to go and told him alright give me a second while I took a drink since I was thirsty as all hell.
Then while I was drinking he thought it would be funny to do it. He slid it thru and I flinched since he made it way deeper then I told him too do it. I was bleeding a bit but not so much. The needle went thru half way and I spit out my pop since it felt as if he pinched me. I told him to keep going even tho its crooked. I know it wasn't the smartest thing to let him do it for me, But I couldn't do it myself.
After It went thru, I cleaned around the needle with some rubbing alcohol. Then I slid the barbell in myself. My hand was still bleeding a little since he made it deeper then I marked. I went into my bathroom and cleaned the blood off with cotton swabs and wet my hand in ice cold water. After I got back down into my room, I felt a little woozy. For some reason I thought I was going to faint since my hearing was getting quieter and my vision was turning black. It gave me a scare but I knew why it happened. I did not eat anything that day at all and my system was weak. It was around 11 P.M. and I told my friend to get going home since It was getting late. That night I tried to keep my hand out of my covers (Since my barbell was a curved green 14G with pointy arrows) I didn't want it getting caught in the covers. I knew this would be hard. While laying in bed I kept thinking that this was a pointless but awesome piercing.
That morning when I woke up, I touched my piercing with my hand with my eyes closed, I felt the arrow fall. I was like damn I gotta get up and find it. It became loose over the night not sure how. Then after I actually got out of bed I looked at my hand and it was a bit soar and bruised but when I walked to his house to check up on his hand it was perfectly fine (Since I did his the right way). I couldn't feel the barbell was in there. It was that comfortable. But since I kept forgetting I had it in there, I used the hand on accident which stung. After about a week it looked so good I was amazed. My friends hand was still swollen but it was going down. He took his out after that one week since it was getting in the way with his job. I had mine in ever since. Right now as im typing this, It is really looking good. I haven't changed the barbells since I like the one thats in there. My friend who took his out suggested stretching it, But I thought that was insane. Now thinking about it, I might stretch it from my 14G to a 10 or even a 8G. Im going to be taking a ride to the mall this week for more barbells. Personally I want to see how much I can stretch it even tho I know its not such a good idea.
If I do end up stretching it, I know I will appreciate it. This piercing is pretty much pointless since it doesn't give you any kind of pleasure, But it certainly catches peoples eyes. For those who love attention, I recommend it. Otherwise just get it done anyway since it does kill a lot of time when you have nothing more to do.
Its nice to have another hole in the body which was modified by myself. I took pride into the piercing. That was my story of my hand webbing between my Index finger and Thumb!
