It's been nearly two months since I had this procedure done. I now have further plans to make a bit of a project out of it. To cover what isn't here, before I left the country I went ahead and had my sternum pierced. Xine was very careful and thorough with her work on me. I had about an inch of surgical plastic with two shiny balls in my cleavage. It was beautiful. Then, I left for a month.

It's full of sleazy men who just want to steal money, really. It's not even sex. So, the shiny ball of my cleavage piercing sticking out attracted plenty of conversation and got lots of free wine and gelato.
I was cleaning it daily and I do believe Italian water is great for this. Lots of calcium in the water. Well, about the fourth week after I had it pierced, I went off to Amsterdam. The exits were starting to get a bit red. I finally realised that i needed to start getting this build up from within the piercing out. And I was stuck in Amsterdam, 4,000 miles away from my piercist. I stopped in this piercing shop to get it checked out and they explained a few things I wasn't entirely sure on. They did bitch at me for not cleaning it properly and the lack of salt water. But they did say it was fine. So, off to Italy and back home.
Once I got home, I had about two weeks before I was supposed to go into surgery. Mastopexy. Breast lift in better terms. They told me beforehand that I would need to remove all my jewelry including piercings before the surgery. So, the night before came. Out came my 6 earrings. In the morning, I looked down at my cleavage. I didn't want to take it out. But, I knew I had to. The surgery was all over my breast area so it had to go. At least for the next 5 hours. So, I tried getting the balls off. The stuff coming out of the piercing had jammed the balls on the plastic so I had to cut one of them off.
Then, off to the office I go. I get there and in pre-op, I have a massive panic attack and they have to re-schedule my surgery. about two hours later, I'm finally calmed down enough to think about putting something in the hole in my chest. I had a metal rod from my boyfriend's leftover spinal reconstruction equipment. I don't know why he had it, he just did. The rod was about 5 inches long and had no way of staying in. I curved it a bit and left it for the entire day. Going was interesting because I kept missing the exit hole and poking around under my skin. The feeling of that was incredible. It wasn't painful or anything. It's made me think of getting an implant done of some kind. Finally, I get it in and take a nap. Very carefully. Later on in the day, I go up to a store and get a 3 inch curved barbell with balls to keep it in. That went in much better. I slid it in using lubrication this time in the restroom of a coffeeshop. It was sterile. So, that got to stay in for about a week.
Finally, I get to see my piercist. My friend Mike has to take me now because I've been thrown out of my house and no longer have a vehicle of my own. She has moved to a new location. The following day, she was fired. The day after, she applied elsewhere. The day after, she set up shop elsewhere. It took a few days. Finally, I get to actually go in and see her about something replace the 3 inch curved barbell I have. She replaces it, happpily, and gives me a nice standard surface bar for it. I let her keep the 3 inch barbell because I have absolutely no use for it at all. In a few weeks, I'm going to order a custom surface bar with shorter posts after this is fully healed. it's getting there already. It's a bit red. It's nice though. I want to get pretty balls that sparkle for it too.
I'm plan on ordering a custom ring for my boyfriend for his frenum. It's wonderful. Every guy should have one. My own future plans... in my breasts, right near my cleavage, I want a vertical surface bar in each breast. Then, I want custom surface bars that have rings attached to the balls in my back to make a corset piercing as close to permanent as possible. In a few weeks, I want to pierce my tongue. Xine will do all my piercing work while I'm here in Jacksonville. She's really amazing.
