My arm piercing, I'm 16 and I have a huge piercing fetish. I get random urges to pierce something at random, this kind of hits me at a "I'm bored let's have some fun" phase. I have my Ears pierced quite a few times and I've pierced my belly button, multiple places on my hand (I call them fun piercing, during school I get bored and play with safety pins). I've also pierced my toe my leg and my scrotum; everything on me has been done by me. So now that some background information on me, and how I pretty much have a love for pain, this is my story. I do not encourage people to do piercings on them self, but if your going to keep it clean.
Well like I said before, I get random urges to pierce something, well I got sick of piercing my ears and I wanted something more exotic. I've always wanted my hand web pierced but I did a little poke, and realized I use my hands way to much and I'd get ripped out faster then I could think, well I guess the next place I saw was my wrist, so there it went.

First thing first, I found my needle and a sharpie (marker), I've had a bar that I pierced my ear with. I tried to give my self an industrial with a tongue bar, it was to short. Well I found my bar and my needle and I got the rubbing alcohol out, yeah I know its not the right way to clean stuff but I'm lazy, I pored the rubbing alcohol into a Dixie cut and let the needle and the bar to soak for a hour.

Well here's where it really started. I got the marker and marked my arm, I marked up 2" from where I wear my watch and then I did 2 dots ½" apart for the entry exit holes. I got the needle, at first I had no idea how to do this, so I went vertical into my arm about 1/8 into my arm then tilted it and pushed. The needle entering my skin wasn't that painful at all. But it took me ½ to get just half way under my skin from stop push stop push, just to savor every bit of pain. To my surprise I didn't see any blood this whole time. Well you wouldn't believe how Fu**en tough your skin is, it seriously took a lot of force to get it out of my skin, I mean I had a mark on my thumb from pushing so hard, and damn does that hurt so much more then going in. I got my barbell and slid it through pushing the needle in front, put the ball on (not as hard as u would think, and I took a picture (I need to scan it still). And admired my bar.

Sleeping wasn't hard at all, it was actually painless after until the next night. If you want people to stare at you, this is defiantly something to do/get. I got the weirdest reaction. It was great (I love when people stare). Well I had it in for about 3 weeks and it wasn't healing at all. Mostly because this did snag on everything, I had many times when it bled because in the hall at school people bumped into it and it snagged. Well after awhile it started to migrate out. I thought it was doing this by how I pierced it, but it wasn't I'll get to that later. Well my friend talked me into taking it out because it looked "sick". Well it's a good thing I did because the skin was so thin I would have lost the bar in a few days.

Me the smart one that never gives up decided to give it another try. I actually did this right before I took the other one out, knowing that I had to take it out soon anyway. I was proud I had a really small ladder, lol on pathetic. Anyway, the second time I went deeper and I went an inch instead of half. This time it did bleed, not a lot but it bled.

I thought this one would last. However, it didn't, in about a week I noticed that it was migrating again, and in much despair, I took it out. I now know why it did migrate, it was because of the balls of the bar. The balls push on the skin putting pressure on the skin above the piercing, and it causes decay of that skin. I think it was a great experience and it was defiantly worth doing except for a few things. One I obviously lost the piercing, and to anyone that wants this done, do it at a shop or use a ring. But the big problem now is I have three scars. One long one (the one that migrated out) and 2 little dots : l  looks like that, and its been about 2, 3 months now and there still as prominent as the day they healed. That was the only big downfall. But I'll try again some day, with a ring. If anyone has any questions just email me I'll be glad to help, just label the heading "bme piercing" or something like that.
