Today I got a lady-part piercing, namely a triangle. Clearly this is something I've been interested in for quite some time, but part of me never thought I would really make myself go for it. Boyfriends of the past had been quite dead set against it, so I never went ahead with any plans, in the name of relationship happiness. Suddenly single and allowed to do whatever the goodness I want with my body, I called up Tora Tattoo to see how triangle-friendly they are. I spoke with Deacon, the piercer, and he was his usual friendly self and answered all my inquiries about triangles and his experience with piercing them. He hadn't done too many but was confident that if my anatomy allowed it, he would be able to successfully hook me up. We set up a consultation date to make sure I was a suitable candidate.

Consultation time came, and I entered the studio, prepared in my skirt-sans-undies. He set me up on a different chair from the one I was used to, and had me sit on the paper covering while he got the stirrups all set. A bunch of glove changes later, I was being examined and prodded, sometimes with a tiny flashlight covered in a rubber glove, and was deemed suitable for triangle times. An appointment was made for the following Friday.

Today is that Friday, and I've just got home. Here's what went down.

My friend and I showed up a couple minutes early for the appointment, filled out my forms and headed on in. Deacon had everything all laid out nicely in their packages and explained what was going to happen. First he would re-measure the area to decide for sure which jewelry would fit the best, then he would get me all clean and sanitized, mark the area and apply clamps, which he explained would be the kind used for septum piercings, as to not apply pressure to the entire area, just the necessary one (excellent! haha). I got up onto my chair and waited while Deacon went and washed up, me getting nervy as ever and babbling on to my friend in an attempt to chill out. He came back and had me set my feet in the stirrups and we were ready to go.

Everything went as planned, he cleaned me all off, which was an interesting feeling bordering on pleasant, hah. He then set about drawing a series of lines on my regionals to determine where exactly it should be. I got a glance at it in a hand mirror, and it seemed pretty much like where I thought it should be, maybe a bit high but I figured he knew what he was doing. He asked me to put my palms against the insides of my lower thighs, and to try to push down on my legs if I felt the need to jump or spaz. Then: the clamps. After reading so many experiences saying that the clamps were brutal, it was a lovely surprise to barely feel them, just a slight pressure. I guess septum clamps are the way to go, after all. Clamps applied, I started getting scared; I know what comes next. I closed my eyes and used my usual pain-tolerating trick: digging my nails into my nearest bit of flesh, in this case my thighs.

The piercing itself was quick, and it did hurt, although not as much as getting my nips done, though. It was like a very sharp tug of pain; really, it felt just like I imagined a needle through the ladybits would feel like. I definitely jerked a bit, but luckily it didn't throw anything off at all. The jewelry insertion was a bit of a pinch too, but I relaxed a whole bunch following the initial piercing. By that point, I figure, the stress is over and you can just go with the flow. He cleaned me up with something that stung a bunch, I'm assuming alcohol. Yow. Apparently I didn't bleed too much, just a bit mainly from the exit hole. I could feel blood dripping down my region though, which was a bit off-putting and confusing before I realized what it was.

Glancing quickly at it in the mirror, it seemed perfect. My friend gave it the thumbs up for cuteness, too. I paid and tipped after a listening to a speech about aftercare, which was generally straight-forward. Being a freshly single lady, I am not about to be sexualizing with anyone, which makes everything less complicated.

The drive home was uneventful, only a slight overall soreness that was easy to forget about. No exciting tingles, I guess we'll wait and see how this sensitivity business works out when everything's healed.

It's been maybe three hours, and the area is pretty swollen, as to be expected. It doesn't hurt at all, though, and is only a bit sore if I touch it in any way. I soaked it in a bit of warm sea salt water on a cotton ball earlier, which felt pretty good. I'll report on the action as it happens, I suppose.

Day 1

Soaked the area with warm sea salt water in a cup, doing a strange sort of position to get a water-tight seal but it worked out okay. Showered and cleaned with Spectro Jel, rotating the ring a tad. Really, it hardly hurts at all, only if the skin there gets stretched or pulled tight at all. Rotating it for the first time was surprisingly easy. There's been quite a bit of white discharge from the holes, especially the entrance one, and there's a bit of redness by the exit hole, but otherwise everything is as good as could be expected. It's lovely.

Day 2

Slight soreness continues, but it's more just a tingly itchiness, really. Not as much discharge, but there's still some. It stung a bit to turn the ring while cleaning it in the shower. I think I'm more aware of the ring's presence today than yesterday, coz the itching is sort of constant. I should probably make a better effort to sleep solely on my back in case I'm rolling onto my side and compressing it in the night.

After inspecting it a bit and comparing it to some pictures online, I'm beginning to think that he in fact pierced it too high. The ring doesn't seem to go behind my clit at all, but through the hood shaft above. What I seem to have is just a deep horizontal hood, which is totally not what I was going for. When they open on Tuesday I'm for sure going to be calling to inquire about what to do now.

Day 3

Still itchy and sore, cleaning twice a day with the sea salt soaks and Spectro Jel, feeling unhappy about not actually having a triangle. Had to run for the bus and do a lot of walking in general today and was definitely more sore because of it. No blood at all since the initial piercing, which was surprising because I was told there would probably be some. Just lots of white discharge instead. Can't wait to be calling Tora to inquire about the placement.

Day 4

Itchy as hell. The ring rotates pretty easily now, especially after being cleaned, sometimes when I'm not even meaning for it to be rotating. SO ITCHY, though. It kept me up at night being so itchy, reminiscent of yeast infection itching except clearly in a slightly different area. Problem solved by putting on really tight underwears which seemed to compress the problem enough for me to sleep.

Called Tora, and I'm going in tomorrow to have Deacon take a gander at it. Excellent.

Day 5

Went to Tora and ended up having him remove the piercing for me so it can heal up, and have to re-pierced in a couple of weeks in the right spot. It's sort of nice to suddenly be without irritating metal in my pant, I can cross my legs once more with ease! I should enjoy it for the next few weeks, I guess, until the new lovely ring times.

For now I've got two little raised spots where the metal used to be going in and out, and I'm hoping they lower themselves down soon. Tune in next time for: Re-piercing madness!

Three Weeks Later:

Everything is all healed up by now, and the raised bumps have, in fact, gone down to where I can only feel them if I search them out. I think I'm going to put off the re-pierce for a while for the sake of convenience, though. There are too many mad happenings so far this summer to slow down for lady piercings again, so we will see.
