At the ripe old age of 41, I started my piercings with the exception of my ears. Those have had 3 holes each since I was 16. Just this past year, I added an extra hole to each ear. But, that was not enough. I wanted more. I wanted to try something that no one else in my family had done, so I set off in search of my new trend. My first stop was at BME. I spent hours on the computer after my (now ex) boyfriend had gone to bed. I can not tell you how many pictures I looked at and how many stories I had read. Like I said, I wanted to be different so I started in with my piercings. First, it was both of my nipples last October. I wear 14g barbells in those. I moved out of my boyfriends house the beginning of December and can you believe he didn't know that my nipples were pierced? He knew about the navel but nothing else. I guess I really meant alot to this guy for him not to notice other jewelry that had been added.

I change back and forth between a circular barbell and a straight barbell. Both of them are 14g as well. Eventually, I hope to get them stretched to a 12 gauge or so. That will take so time though. It's kind of difficult to wear weighted chains to work. I would not want to make people wonder where the noise is coming from. Although it could prove to be quite interesting.
But, I was still not done. I wanted more and more I have done. My newest and most fun are my outer labia piercings. As I am for the most part a quick healer I didn't figure it would bother me much. I started with the left side. One quick jab and it was over. I now had a small seamless gold ring installed. I washed it all the time with saline solution and took showers every day. At night when I was laying in bed, I would turn the ring around and around. At first it was a bit tender to wear slacks and especially jeans. But after about 3 weeks, it was fine. From time to time, I even attatch a chain and weights to the ring and walk around with it dangling between my legs.
It is so exhilarating to feel that. Still I wanted more. So, just recently I pierced the other side of my labia. My second gold seamless ring is even with my first. Now, not only do I still dangle a chain with weights on it, I can put a small padlock in the rings and lock everything up. It is such a sensuous feeling when I lock myself up and go to bed knowing that nothing but a finger can fit under the lock. Eventually, I will have a piece of jewelry that connects my Christina and my labia rings all together and no lock will be needed. It will act like a shield againgst most everything.
But alas, I am not done. I am now working on the inner
labia and adding gold rings to that as well. I can actually put one ring from my inner labia to my outer labia on the other side and close up shop for anyone who thinks they might want to get a little.
It's really very cool one ring keeps EVERYTHING and EVERYBODY out!!!
I DO NOT recommend ANYONE piercing themslves.
It can be very dangerous and unhealthy. You must have all the right tools and patience with where you want your piercings to be. Make sure you get it right the first time! If you have to do it over, you might just chicken out. Keep saline handy as well as a triple antibiotic to put on the piercings everytime they are cleaned. I have be lucky with mine as none have become infected. I keep all of my piercings very clean and all my jewelry very mobile.Some one of these days, I might be satisfied will all the jewelry that I will add. But for now, If there is room for a ring or barbell, I will add it. I shall just cross them of my list as I go. I love it and there WILL be more to follow. P.S. If you plan to fly with all the jewelry that I have, get some acrylic to take the place of all the surgical steel. After all, with all the added security at th airports, would you want to bare your soul ( so to speak) so to pass through the metal detectors????????
