Recently in my life, at the age of 36, I've decided that more body beautification is in order. I have at least another 30 years of fabulous sex left (and hopefully more) and I want to accentuate it as much as possible. Body beautification is one of the ways I believe can add to sexual pleasure for both me and my partner. I already have two tattoos, both nipples pierced, and a navel piercing.... along with my ears of course. I also have three more tattoos being designed, but that just didn't seem to cover all the bases.

Last week I decided that a vertical hood piercing would be just what the doctor ordered!! Sadly, when I arrived at the studio, Natalie, the most fabulous piercer, informed me that I did not have a hood to pierce. This explained why I got so much pleasure out of sex already, but left me a little disappointed. "Now what?" I asked. Natalie said that maybe we could do labia piercings and a Christina.
I had never heard of a Christina piercing, and wasn't sure that labia piercings were for me, so Natalie took me to the computer and pulled up the BME site. She showed me the Christina, and some other genital piercings..... I fell in love immediately!!! I knew I had to have at least the Christina!! Just to be sure, Natalie wanted me to go home and do a little bit of research before we decided exactly what to do. So instead, that was the day I got my nipples pierced.
One week later, after growing to love my nipple piercings more and more, and doing research on genital piercings, I decided that a Christina was definitely in order. No matter what people wrote about how painful it was supposed to be, or how big the risk of rejection, I thought it was one of the most beautiful piercings I've ever seen. And since I keep myself completely shaved year-round, I thought it would be a fabulous accessory!!
I didn't want to limit myself to the Christina though.... I wanted to get something that would also provide pleasure to me, and my partner. That's where the labia piercings came in. I thought for sure I wanted a couple of inner labia barbells with crystals on the ends - bling for my parts!!! Unfortunately, upon closer inspection, Natalie said I didn't have those either, so if I wanted anything besides the Christina, it would have to be outer labia piercings. Who knew I was so lacking in the skin department??!!
Anyways, after careful planning, Natalie made a triangular design with the three barbells, and I now have beautiful genital piercings!!!
Now is the time to get to the good stuff: yes, it did smart when Natalie put the needle in. I had to take a minute or two between each of the piercings to get my nerve up to do the next one. In all, I was in the piercing room for about 15 minutes. Yes, it did bleed a little bit. Mostly it was the Christina that bled.... and it didn't so much bleed as ooze blood for a little while.
I did have trouble walking and driving my stick shift for the first hour or so right after the piercings.... If I didn't have any problems I think I would have been more worried though!! When I got home I changed into some very loose cotton shorts and held a pack of frozen peas to my crotch for at least four hours. By then, the swelling had gone almost completely away, and I only felt the piercings when I forgot about them, and tried to cross my legs too quickly.
I'm very glad that I got all three piercings at the same time!!! Natalie told me not to let anybody touch them for a couple of weeks - but that's okay, a girl's got to heal, and take good care of herself (and my special "friend" is not coming to visit me for another two and half weeks). The aftercare is no different than any other piercing, except that they're supposed to heal much faster because of the increased blood flow in that area of the body... We'll see I guess. So far, I couldn't be happier about the whole experience!!!
I guess if you're worried about the pain, take some Tylenol before you go!! I didn't, I waited until I got home. I'm glad I took the time to put ice on the babies though, it sure seemed to make everything feel much much better.
