This is my first time writing to BME and I wanted to share my experience with a piercing that, up until four months ago, I didn't even know existed.

I'm sure everyone here knows exactly what I'm talking about and everyone has either seen a picture of one or knows someone that has one.
I had never seen it before.
When I saw it here on BMEzine, I was just looking for pictures of a vertical clitoral hood piercing, trying to map out new piercings, so to speak.
But then I saw a picture of it and instantly... it just stood out to me.
It took me ten minutes to tear my eyes away from the piercing and even after that, I still went back time and time again to just look at it.
I have to say, never before has a piercing so stood out in my mind and made me not just want it but long for it.
So, finally, after three or so months of waiting, I went to the piercing studio I go to.
I find Spider Bite to be not only affordable for someone like me that really wants to have a lot of piercings but the environment is much more clean and yet warm and friendly to me.
I wasn't there more than five minutes before I was handing over my ID, my money and signing the forms.
I have to say, I love that bit of excitement that builds before you get a piercing or tattoo. All that adrenaline, the excitement and builds until finally your skin is cleaned and ready.
Shannon I've had done piercings for me before.
She did my right horizontal nipple piercing and it was amazing.
She was open and honest about what would happen, which made me so comfortable. When I got my first piercing, my belly button ring, I wasn't told what would happen but Shannon is so good about it every time.
And she was right.
The clamp hurt more than the piercing and my body did jump but... more out of shock than pain.
And then I had my new piercing, this beautiful little barbell right through a small amount of skin at the apex of my labial lips.
It didn't hurt to walk, it didn't hurt to move and it didn't really hurt at all.
She explained everything to me, cleaning and care and all that. They've always been very good about that and I was off on my way.
I made it maybe ten steps out of the studio before that warm, tingling sensation ripped through me. I know I'm not the only person out there that gets a orgasmic release from piercings and I'm not different. The walk through the parking lot was interesting to say that least and that interesting feeling grew with each step. I didn't think it was going to tingle so much. My nipple ring did but not like this, I didn't expect so much sensitivity growth from getting it done there. I always though that it would actually kill the sensitivity more than raise it. I guess I was wrong, much to my shock and joy, to be honest. I did wonder, in that short walk, if this was what other people felt when they got genital piercings or if it was just me.
I like the release from piercings that I get. To me, it's something I can't quite describe but a lot of people would understand and this new barbell had upped the ante in a way I didn't know it would but didn't surprise me at all. It's exciting and long lasting and the release isn't a let down to the anticipation. I play with my lip ring all the time, I love putting in different rings for my belly button and just... knowing I have a nipple ring is so exciting to me and it might seem strange to some but my friends all understand. And my fiance loves them. He find me more attractive as I go alone. He was actually the one that pushed for the Christina to be my next piercing, constantly demanding pictures of not just it but all my new piercings.
He wants me to get more and I want to get more to.
I have eight now and it still feels like not nearly enough.
My only problem came, in a few days, when the area under the barbell swelled a little too much and the piercing became a little too tight. It isn't a problem though, Shannon covered that too and it's an easy fix she says.
Once I get the barbell pierced, I'll only have the problem of keeping it clean as not to lose it. I'm not too worried about that. Not because I think it'll stay no matter what but I'm careful, I clean it regularly and I've never had a problem with piercings before. Plus, it's an easy to heal piercing or rather, it doesn't take that long to heal, so it shouldn't be a problem, I hope. Truth be told, I am worried about wearing tight pants, I don't want anything to happen to it because... I like the way it looks and feels.
I look at my new piercing probably four or more times a day now, it's like I can't keep my eyes off of it. I feel it when I move and it's an amazing feeling and it's weird to think that if I hadn't seen that picture I would never have known about it and I wouldn't have it now. So, here's hoping to keeping it clean and that the next piercing can at least reach the bar of this one.
