After feeling the wonderful effects of my VCH, I began thinking more and more about getting a triangle, but I was nervous about the pain and the bleeding. I of course came to BME and started doing research and almost all of the experiences wrote about a lot of bleeding and pain for days, not being able to wear jeans, etc. So I spoke with my piercer about it and he gave me a funny look and said, no, there of course may be bleeding because of that area but not a lot and there should not be too much discomfort afterwards. I just happened to bump into my piercer that day, which is why I brought up my concerns with him, I had absolutely no intention of doing it that day; however he told me he was going on vacation for about a week and that was his last day doing it and he would do it for a great price. So my mind was made up and I was terrified!
At A Glance Author Steph When A month ago I walked into the shop and we filled out the necessary paperwork and off to the back room we went! Now, I have been pierced by this piercer many a time so I was very comfortable with him, he has done my snug, industrial, both of my conches, my nipples and my VCH so I had no problem showing him my "area". So up I go on the table and he tells me, after examining me, that I would be getting a "deep hood piercing" which is just like the triangle, but higher up so it is actually above the clit, but behind the shaft so it also stimulates the clit from behind. So I was incredibly nervous about the pain, even though he told me it was not going to hurt too much more than my VCH which did not hurt in the slightest. So he gets all of his stuff prepared and sterilizes everything and up on the table I went and of course, as I always do, I freaked out! I always freak out right before a piercing then afterwards say "Oh that was not too bad" but this time I was shaking, I was terrified of kicking when he pierced me or moving or something, but he reassured me by making me put my feet in front of his legs so I could not kick even if I tried. He said not to worry about moving because even if I jerked, he would move with me and I knew this was true because I moved like crazy for my nipple piercings (OUCH) and he moved with me all the way. This calmed me down a little bit and off went. He put on the clamps and I was shaking even more, he told me I needed to calm down before he could do it, so I covered my mouth with one hand and my eyes with the other and he asked me if he should just go ahead and do it and I nodded. So he moved down there and pushed the needle through, it hurt, but not as much as I expected, however I think there was a little bit of shock involved because I did not move my hand from my mouth and my eyes were shut. The feeling of the needle still in me was very uncomfortable because of how deep the piercing is and once he switched it with the jewelry (which stung a little bit) that felt much better. I think I made my piercer nervous because I was not talking (I am always talking) and he kept asking me questions: "Are you ok?" I nodded "Do you hate me?" I shook my head "Are you sure you're ok?" I nodded then I was able to choke out my only question "How much did I bleed?" he said "As of right now, not a drop" and that was the truth! I bled the tiniest bit and that was it! It hurt to get it done but not too bad, definitely do-able, and the pain was over once the piercing was over.
I have had it now for about a month and I could feel more stimulation from it, not as much as I was expecting, but that might be just because I was expecting too much, I'm not sure and it is still early so we will see! But I love the way it looks and could not be happier with it! I found that it could be a little uncomfortable when I cross my legs too quickly and it stung to clean the first few days. When I left the shop, my piercer warned me that just because my VCH did not swell or bleed or crust up does not mean that this one won't. I of course did not believe him and almost freaked out when it swelled up that night. Then I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt since he is a professional, and gave it a few days and it went away the next day! I don't know why I did not trust him to begin with, he has never steered me wrong before!
Like I stated, I feel a little bit of discomfort when I cross my legs too quickly, and because it is a deep hood piercing instead of a triangle it is deep behind my VCH so it clangs up against my VCH sometimes (I was pierced with a horseshoe or a curved barbell) so the balls hit each other sometimes but its not a bad feeling at all it was just a strange feeling to begin with but now I'm used to it. Overall it is definitely a pleasurable piercing and my piercer did not lie, he gave me a FANTASTIC deal on it, probably because this was my 8th piercing from him in the past two month's lol. But if anyone out there is considering getting a triangle and is not suited for it, get a deep hood piercing instead it is beautiful and it is the same thing as the triangle, just with a higher placement. I have had it for about a month now and it is healing wonderfully!!!
