I have always been into piercings ever since I got my first one done when I was fifteen (navel). I decided two years ago that I wanted a genital piercing, this was when I got my hood pierced it was a vertical piercing with a straight bar. I was very pleased with it and liked the way it sat.

I found some pictures of Isabella and fell in love with it straight away. Isabella goes thru the base of the clit and up through the hood (a deep clit piercing)and I also liked that it was one of the least common genital piercing.
About two weeks after deciding I wanted Isabella I arranged an appointment with my piercer. I invited a friend for moral support who thought she might get one as well. On the day I was surprised i wasn't feeling nervous at all. We walked into the studio and my piercer went through all the pros and cons and also showed me millions of pictures of Isabella. He made sure that was the one I wanted and we proceeded into the room.
I told my friend I would go first as she was more nervous then me and was very undecided if she wanted Isabella. My piercer asked me to remove my bottoms and sit on the chair which was a dentist chair. He was also the one who pierced my hood. I explained to him that I wanted to remove my hood piercing and I wanted the top ball of Isabella to sit where the top ball of my hood sat. So he removed my hood piercing and wiped me with a swap which stung a bit more then expected. He placed the dots showed me I agreed with the positioning. I asked if he was going to used numbing cream he said
"Only if I felt I needed it". By this time I was extremely nervous and said "Yes I believe I will need it". So he applied the cream and we waited fifteen minutes.
After fifteen minutes he clamped where it needed to be clamped it surprised me that it didn't hurt as much as I thought. He told me to lay back and relax and asked if I was ready. I grabbed my friends had and nodded yes. Just before he pushed the needle through he explained to me that it may hurt coming up through my hood because it was going through scar tissue. This made me want to back out but I'm the sort of person that when I sign for something I just cant back out. So I laid there scared to death.
He asked me one more time and I replied just do it then I felt the needle go through. I didn't feel it at the base of my clit but only going through my hood. It didn't hurt as much as I thought it would. He then placed the bar and passed me the mirror. I was very pleased with the positioning and it didn't bleed at all.
My friend was up next I reassured her that it was just a little sting and nothing to cry over so she got her self ready. The piercer set up all new stuff to use on her. She kept changing her mind on if she wanted Isabella, just her clit or the triangle. after the piercer mucking around showing her different pictures she decided on just the clit. So he marked where the piercing would go and just as he got the clamp on she chickened out.
So I paid my piercer and tipped him and said sorry about my friend. He explained to me the after care and told me because it is a deep piercing that it will take about four months to heal. It was uncomfortable to wear tight pants for about two weeks but other then that I didn't have much discomfort with it at all.
To this day I keep telling her how great Isabella is in the bed and how funny it is she chickened out. She regrets chickening out but I keep telling her its the best piercing I have ever had.
Its been six months and it has healed quite well I just bought a gold banana bar to change it over as the bar he pierced it with is now to long as all the swelling has gone. But i am having trouble getting the balls off.
I know there are a few risks with this piercing but I recommend this piercing it is very comfortable to wear and it does make private time a bit more exciting. However if you are planning to get Isabella I suggest you got to a well know piercer and one who has experience because it isn't a common piercing you may find most piercers wont do it. But if you are having trouble finding a piercer who will do it, do not go ahead and pierce your self because u can pierce to deep and puncture your urethra which could cause urine infections and it could get very nasty or as most piercers believe you could do permeant nerve damage.
