Christina: She's a brutal mistress.

I was worried about finding someone to do one because I live in a small town. Also my original piercer was shot and killed earlier in the summer and was looking for a new shop anyway. I found Mystic Tattoo and talked to Paul about the piercing and confirmed that was really what I wanted. He said that he's been a piercer for ten years and has not done many of those, maybe ten at the most.
We went through the risks, healing time, proper care and cleaning, all things that good shops do. He also told me that I was a brave woman for wanting that particular piercing. We set up an appointment time for later on in the evening. After a good meal (you should really do this before any modification I think) and finding a friend that was interested in going to see how it's done (she was considering a VCH for herself) I arrived for my appointment.
Paul went over the risks again. He also commented that he was not fond of doing genital piercing on women because he didn't want them to think he got anything out of it. I told him not a problem that I wouldn't think anything like that as long as he did his job.
So a few moments later, I was nude from the waist down and awaiting the needle. I already have a VCH piercing and knew what the process was going to be like so I was not at all nervous, although I was anticipating pain. While he was preparing the needle and jewelry he commented on a tattoo on my thigh as a bit of an icebreaker. I think he was commenting on it to calm himself because of his previous comment about genital piercing.
Finally I was told to lie back. He marked where the needle would be inserted and asked if it was okay with me. Of course it was it was straight and centered where I thought it should have been. My poor friend stood in the corner squirming. I think she was much more nervous than I was and I could already tell she would probably never get a genital piercing. Paul clamped the area, which is not a comfortable experience. The pubic mound is an area that does not really like to be pinched. Imagine getting skin caught in a zipper.
Now to the fun part at last. He had the needle and was ready to go. He told me to take a few breaths and asked if I wanted to be warned right before he pierced me. I told him no just surprise me, that way I would not have time to tense up and expect the pain. Tensing up would have made it that much worse. After past research on this webpage and a few others I knew it probably was not going to be comfortable anyway.
I looked over at my friend; she had her hand over her eyes and was in the corner she couldn't watch anymore. Then wham! I felt the needle punch through. I'm not going to downplay this, I could feel every millimeter of the needle going through and it was not a pleasant experience. It was not the most excruciating pain experience of my life but it was close. It felt like an intense burning, ripping sensation. Much more intense than my first genital piercing. I let out a yelp but knew better than to move. The pain only lasted for a few moments though.
Then came jewelry installation: Paul had problems getting the ball installed on my barbell so unfortunately my friend had to snap out of her corner and assist to keep him from loosing grip on my jewelry. She bravely came out of her corner and clamped the barbell on the jewelry with a tool so that Paul could get the ball on. She then ran right back to her corner. I felt sorry for her, she already got into more than she expected and then had to assist.
It's now been two days.
Christina is tender but she's beginning to heal. The first twenty-four hours I did have some mild bleeding. So I recommend wearing a panty liner a little high in the underwear to prevent a mess. After twenty-four hours I didn't have any more bleeding. Day two the piercing is a little swollen and bruised. I was warned it would probably do such a thing. It looks much worse than it feels. I'm very fair skinned everywhere so a minor bruise looks like I've been seriously beaten. This evening the only discomfort I experience is cleaning the piercing. It has also downplayed its intensity; it was quite bad the first day. The swelling has also gone down so all I have is the minor bruising.
So Christina is a hard mistress but she's worth it. I would not recommend it as a first piercing at all. If you are looking for a female genital piercing for the first time I recommend a VCH if you are a good candidate for it. I also do not recommend it for the weak of heart. She's tough.
