I have just had my genital area tattooed three weeks ago with a tribal design and although it looks great, I felt it was missing the little something to make it sparkle! After having various piercings done I was now eager to have a long-wanted genital piercing done. I debated on getting a vert hood piercing, after much discussion with my boyfriend, who is my piercer, we decided that I was already extremely sensitive 'down there' to get a hood piercing done.

We also decided against labia piercings as mine chafe enough on my underwear without having them pierced! My boyfriend wanted to help me in the quest to make me have the prettiest bits in town(!) So we looked around at genital piercings on various web sites together. He showed me a Christina and when I saw it I fell in love straightaway because I'd never heard of it before and it looked fantastic and also none of my friends have got it done which to me made it seem like the big sparkly diamond in the shop window amongst the plain stuff-so being a girl I HAD to have it! Plus my boyfriend liked it too as he isn't really into female genital piercings and he's nearly as fussy as I am!
Ok, I'm the kind of person that when I see something I really want I have to have it straightaway or else I'll sulk for days! After much begging my boyfriend he left me at home while he went to pick up his piercing equipment, he's so handy to have around when i get spur-of-the-moment piercing urges! He arrives back about half hour later with all the equipment (he used to own a studio and everything he uses is sterile) so I trust him although he hasn't done a christina before which is making me nervous, in fact VERY nervous! He arrives back and by this time I'm quite pale and feel light headed (the adrenaline always screws me up!) My boyfriend checks that I still want it done-Of course I do! I take off my trousers and my thong and lie back on the bed taking deep breaths to try and calm my heart down!
This is always the bit I hate when getting piercings-the waiting for the piercer to get everything ready, luckily Gavin doesn't faff around this time and is ready in about 3 minutes. He cleans the area with a little swab which stings like a fucker because I had recently shaved and the tattoo was still healing slightly.
It took him four attempts to get the marks straight as I kept twitching a bit because the pen tickled down there! After I inspected the dots in front of the mirror I was satisfied and now excited anticipating how sexy it would look!
I lay back down on the bed and Gavin cleaned the area again quickly and then clamped my bits which felt very uncomfortable in fact it hurt quite a lot, now I was just waiting to get it over and done with but it seems to take my boyfriend forever to line the needle up. He tells me to just breathe deeply, as I take my first breath he starts to push the needle through, and before I could swear and kick him, its over! It did hurt but I didn't have enough time to scream! He puts in the jewellery which is a pretty pink gem plastic thing-I can never remember the technical name-and I'm done.
I have a look down and theres a lot of blood, I'm worrying now incase he hit something he shouldn't have! It wasn't as much blood as I thought when we cleaned it so I relaxed!
Its now been a day since I had it pierced and after cleaning it in the shower and with salt water its looking damn sexy. This is now by far my favourite piercing and I would recommend every woman to get it done, plus its a good excuse to get it 'Doggy Style' for a few weeks! The only drawback so far is I have a fear of masturbating and hurting it as they can be rejected easily which is the last thing I want but I'm sure I can wait a bit longer. It's no longer swollen and I cant stop looking at it in the mirror. My tattoo is great but my Christina completes me. I wouldn't recommend asking your partner to do it for you unless they have the right equipment and the qualifications and yes it did hurt but then sticking a needle into your body would hurt wouldn't it?
