I have been thinking and dreaming about a christina piercing for a long time. However, I didn't go through with it until yesterday.

Second, my boyfriend wanted to be present during the piercing, so I had to wait until he had the time. That seemed to take like forever, so we decided I'd go alone. (It's hard to wait once you made up your mind about a new piercing!)
I arrived at Wildcat at about a quarter past two and asked the girl behind the counter about the christina. (Although I think I knew pretty much everything there was to know about it from internet sources -- yes, including BME!, but you never know.)
She once again explained what type of jewellery they'd use, how I needed to look after it, and how long it'd take to heal. According to her, the Christina isn't very high-maintenance. I'd have to clean it every day in the shower to loosen up the crusties, and then use some anti-microbial solution.
I chose the jewellery (a double jewelled bananabell), asked for some aftercare solution and paid.
Then I had to wait about twenty minutes, because this guy was having his eyebrow pierced first. That gave me the chance to look around in the shop.
Finally Kate was ready and cleaned up the piercing-room. I went in. She closed the door behind me and told me to 'drop them'. Kate also did my two nipple piercings, so we kind of know each other. I was quite comfortable taking my pants off actually. (She complimented me on my black panties, saying there were lots of girls coming in wearing the tiniest g-strings!)
We talked about a lot of stuff as she cleaned the area and marked it. According to her, lots of female strippers ask for the Christina piercing because they want something shiny to add to their show :). (I must admit it is an eye-catcher!)
Then she changed gloves and explained everything she was going to do.
I saw her take the clamps out of a sterile pouch. "This isn't going to be the best feeling in the world" she said, clamping me. It took her a few minutes to adjust the clamps (it really wasn't as uncomfortable as everyone seems to think). I concentrated on my breathing, with long exhales, that seems to calm me down whenever I get a new piercing.
To be really honest, this was the first piercing of my now 17 where I was actually worried about the pain-level.
Kate told me to relax and take a deep breath in, she was going to pierce me on the exhale.
As she pushed the needle through, I admit I flinched a bit. It hurt, but not as bad as I feared it would. It was quite intense, and all I could say when she asked me how it was, was "OK".
I felt Kate slide the jewellery in, which pinched a bit, but wasn't bad at all.
I had a Christina!! I sat up and looked at my new adornment. It was absolutely gorgeous! Not too big, it sparkled all the way up to me :). I hopped off the table, put my pants back on and thanked Kate.
She said I could always contact her with further questions or (heaven forbid!) problems. She gave me the phone-number and e-mail address, and said I could always drop by to have her take a look at it.
Because Christina piercings have the tendency to migrate and / or reject, she told me to come back in a couple of weeks to see how it was doing. Luckily I'm really built for a Christina (I have a quite distinct 'ridge'), so the chances of mine migrating are rather small, but you can never be sure.
I thanked every one in the shop as I walked out. On my way back home, I had this slight pinching feeling, but by the time I got home (about 45 minutes later), I could hardly feel it was there.
I was a bit concerned because I was supposed to go to dinner with my co-workers that same evening, but I had no problem at all sitting at the table for a couple of hours.
Now my christina is a day old, and I had no troubles at all so far. Most of the time I don't feel it's there, and I didn't even have any crusties when I woke up this morning.
I do have the tendency to look at it every time I go to the bathroom, and my boyfriend can't seem to get enough of looking at it, so I'm sure I made the right decision.
We even had – very careful – sex today. I made sure we didn't put pressure on it or rubbed it, and I also made sure no fluids touched it. Afterwards I cleaned it with the aftercare solution I bought.
I couldn't be happier with it, and to all you girls out there wondering if you should get one, I say: Go for it!! It's definitely worth it!
