My story is about my new labia piercing. one thing that I want to make clear is that doing your own piercings CAN be dangerous and I would not recommend to any one that they do it by them selves unless they actually know what they are doing and they are prepared to handle any problems that come up. But any way.

Before my new addition I had my left labia, a Christina, and a horizontal hood piercing. All I had done myself and they have all been very pleasing. But lately I had been itching for a new addition and so last night, when I found my self to be all alone in my house I decided to pierce my right labia to match my left one. To tell you the truth I had never intended to do such a thing, I had always thought that pairs of labia piercings were not as pretty as one and actually intended for this piercing to just be a play, but I do change my mind quite a bit on these issues. So any way, to the good stuff...
I began my set up on my bed and after I sterilized my needle( a lovely 13 gauge piercing needle), my jewelry( a 14 gauge titanium captive bead ring)and a swab to clean the area I started messing around with my self. And I must tell you, I spent quite a bit of time trying to find just the right place for this piercing, and I finally did. So I then sterilized the area and pulled the labia away from the rest of myself and began to pierce it. however I am one of those people who like pain, I enjoy it quite a bit and all my piercings I have done very slow (I have done all but 3 of my piercings, and 2 of them are my first ear piercings which were done when I was 10 and my tongue which I had done at 15-my mom was convinced I would die if I did that one my self, but I have done it for play before.)I just set the needle next to the skin and took a deep breath; I started to push the needle in at a very slow rate and enjoyed hearing and feeling each individual layer of skin giving way to the point of my needle. Then I stopped just about half way through to enjoy the moment. I turned on some music and just hung out with myself and started poking around with the needle trying to cause an endorphin rush. And finally it started to set in. so I continued on with the other half of my piercing and about 5 minutes later I had the needle though. I must note that the last and final push was extremely rewarding. So now that the piercing was done I started to calm down and just layed back in awe that I had acquired a new hole. At this point I was in a state of ecstasy and felt like 100 pounds of something had just been lifted away. I started to contemplate weather or not to keep the thing since I really didn't think I would like the look of matching labia piercings, but decided in the end to just put the jewelry in and see.
So I did. I shoved the jewelry in the back of the needle and slowly pulled it though, that by the way felt awesome, the tight skin squeezing the needle as it went through, but at the same time I was beginning to feel some tenderness and decided to just stop having fun and get the job done. I pulled the jewelry though and wiped off the blood that had been accumulating on my skin and popped the captive bead into the ring. Afterwards I looked at my new piercing in the mirror and to my surprise liked what I saw! I thought that the rings looked cute together and that they complemented my other piercings nicely. I finished cleaning up the area, wiping off some more blood and spraying it with some sea salt then I got up to see how it felt. Walking has been a bit of an experience, but not too bad. And this piercing has actually been one of my only ones that bled after the jewelry was in. but with the help of panty liners everything has worked out. All in all I would recommended to any one that they do this piercing, it has been a great experience the second time around and I would not be surprised if I found my self doing another one in the future.
