I've wanted a VCH piercing for at least two years. I got my naval pierced when I was 18, and loved it. I've wanted another piercing ever since, but for a long time couldn't decide what. I ruled out facial piercings, and I really didn't want to get my nipples pierced (I want to breastfeed my children when I have them, and while I've read online that one can still breastfeed after having one's nipples pierced... I don't want to risk it). So, what else is there, I thought, than a genital piercing.

So I decided, when I have the cash and someone to take me to the piercing place, I'll get it done. And I decided this when I was 19, 20 years old.
Now I'm 21. I'll be 22 in a few months. I started seeing this guy, and I told him I was planning on getting my clit hood pierced. This past week, we went to his place in Valparaiso, like we've done the past few weeks, and he told me on the drive, "Tomorrow, we're going to go get your clit hood pierced." And me, I just sat there, looked at him, and said, "Really? Cool!" That is very like me. My two tattoos and my naval piercing were all very last-minute decisions. I decided I wanted them, but I never planned a trip, just randomly said, "Today, I shall get a tattoo/piercing."
So, Friday, I spent the morning calling all of the tattoo places in the phone book. I found one that was just down the street, and was happy with his experience, so Friday afternoon my man and I headed down to the shop, Ruff House Tattoos. I had to fill out some paperwork. The piercer told me that he preferred to use captive bead ring for genital piercings, but that after it healed I could change it out.
I don't like captive bead rings because I can't work them, but it wasn't a deal breaker, so, my man, the piercer, and I headed back into the room where the guy (whose name escapes me) told me to take off my pants and underwear, and sit on the chair facing him. I tossed my hat at my man, grinned and said, "That sound familiar." Both of the guys laughed. I sat down, and kept my legs together while he prepared his piercing paraphernalia. Then he had me spread my legs. He disinfected the site, then got ready to put the needle through my clit hood. I wasn't watching to see what he was doing; I can never watch during tattoos or piercings. He told me to take a deep breath, which I did, and he pushed the needle through. I cried out - it hurt! But it only hurt for a few seconds, and I'm pretty sure I made the same sound I make when I have an orgasm. The gasping for breath afterward was also very much like after I have an orgasm.
The piercer disposed of the needle, threaded the jewelry through the new and bleeding hole in my clit hood, then held some paper towel to me to slow the bleeding. He said it was common to bleed for up to 20 minutes. I think I bled for a bit longer than that, but it wasn't a lot of blood. I put some paper towel in my panties and got dressed again. The piercer told us that we should avoid sexual contact for a few weeks (But he knew we wouldn't, so he said to just clean my piercing before and after and to definitely use a condom).
Afterward, we went to the store to pick up some saline solution to rinse with twice a day. I'm a bit paranoid immediately after a piercing, so I rinsed every couple of hours.
It stung for about five minutes after I got the piercing, and then when I walked fast (read: a normal speed) it tugged and hurt a bit. It wasn't unbearable, just irritating.
The day I got my piercing, I went to the mall, and I worked (I work at a coffee shop, and it's very fast paced). I was a little slower than normal, but other than that, I was perfectly fine. The only complaint I have is that it hurts when I have to clean the piercing and move the ring around, and last night I was horny as hell - and couldn't do anything about it! I'm looking forward to when it heals, so I can resume my normal activities.
I love my new piercing. It's very pretty and rather exciting to see a little silver ring where I'm used to seeing pink flesh. I'm very happy with the whole experience.
