My experience begins about 5 years ago, when I first heard about piercings "down there". I saw in a magazine that a favorite celebrity of mine was rumored to have a vaginal piercing. I had never thought about it before and had no idea what would be pierced, so on the internet I went.

I began searching for genital piercings and came across BME. I clicked on female piercings and there they were. Some the the most beautiful and aesthetically pleasing piercings I had ever seen! I was shocked to see how many different kinds were available. I began reading stories about people's experiences until I decided it was definitely something I must have, and soon.

There were so many to choose from, but I wanted to go for a relatively common piercing to begin with. I decided that first piercing I wanted was a horizontal hood piercing. To me, the horizontal was much more pleasing to the eye than the verticals, although I did know that it would depend on my genetics if it was possible or not. I didn't really do research on piercers. I just looked online and found one close by. I walked in, talked to a gentleman who quickly directed me to Sid. I explained what I was interested in and asked a few questions. I was so nervous. That day all I wanted to do was meet a piercer, get pricing, and see if I felt like I could trust the studio after seeing it. I talked with Sid for a while, the pricing seemed reasonable, so I told him I'd be back in the next day or two. I had to work up some nerve first!

Two days later I returned to the studio. Sid was there and ready for me. It was me that was still shaking. He had me sign the usual paperwork and brought me to the private room. I was instructed to undress my bottom half and lay back on the table. Much easier said than done with a complete stranger. I finally, after reassuring from Sid, laid back and allowed Sid to see if the horizontal hood piercing was for me. Unfortunately, it was not. I apparently don't have the adequate genetic disposition for such piercing. I had thought about the vertical hood as well, just in case this was the issue. I came to the conclusion that it could be attractive as well and getting it was better than leaving with nothing. I was definitely disappointed, but decided to go for the vertical hood piercing.

I was told my options for jewelry and decided to go for the curved barbell. I liked the idea of having the bottom of the barbell rest on my clit and hopefully provide a little more pleasure than a ring might. I asked a few more questions about the receiving tube and pain. I had heard that the receiving tube placement was more painful than the piercing itself. I was told that the whole process would feel like a pinch. Very quick.

I worked up the last bit of nerve I had in me and told Sid I was ready. He placed the receiving tube on the underside of my hood. I didn't even feel it! What a relief. I was instructed to breath in and out slowly three times. On the first breath out he pushed the needle through. Shit! I sat straight up on the table. But by the time I had jumped the pain was gone. I laid back and allowed Sid to finish placing the jewelry. He was right, it was over in a quick second. I couldn't believe I had done it. Sid told me to stand up and check it out in the mirror. I was amazed. I loved it! It was very cute and I could barely stop looking at it long enough to redress myself.

I tipped Sid and off I went. For the next few days I couldn't wait to go to the bathroom and check out how great my new jewelry looked down there. I washed the area with Provone, a soap recommended by Sid, 2-3 times a day for the next 2 weeks. For the first day or two it stung a little to use the bathroom, but from what I was told the urine would help it heal. By day three the pain was gone. I continued with caring for the new piercing as instructed. After about a week I could handle the piercing without much pain, but still remained gentle. This was a very quick healing piercing. I was so excited to have gotten something that no one else knew about. It was really hard to keep it a secret. I just wanted to shout it from a rooftop or something. I wanted the world to know how beautiful my kitty ring was.

This is something all women should look into. It's incredible how a little piece of jewelry can make you feel so good. In some situations it really can rub you just right. I just get a little smile and try not to let anyone in on my secret!

I loved this piercing so much that I since have added two inner labia piercing also. Look for that story to come soon. I love talking about my piercings and would love to answer any questions you might have. Just ask!
