I am a single mom of two and just turned thirty-five. I have been wanting a tattoo for a long time but undecided on the specifics. To get a piercing you just have to decide where. So that is what I did. Now, keep in mind I have only 3 piercings in each ear. I don't have any tattoos. I would consider myself unexperienced when it body art. But Tuesday I prepared for the piercing. I keep everything shaved but I wanted to be completely hair free so I got a Brazilian wax (first time for that too). That went better than I thought so I was very optimistic about the vch. Friday was the big day for the piercing.
Two of my girlfriends and I went to USA Tattoo in Washington, Mo. There I met, for the first time, Ted. He was literally covered with all kinds of cool tattoos. He had gaged ears to a point I could not guess what size they were. He also showed me his nipple, gaged to a double zero. He told me about his PA. When he shared some of his own personal experiences with me I felt like I was talking to an old friend. I did not know him previously and he made me feel really comfortable. We talked before the piercing, covering all the details. VCH was what I was getting done. It was a 16 gage, curved barbell. I had 1/2 inch post to allow for swelling. After it heals, in nine to fourteen days, I can come back to get new jewelry with 3/8 inch post. I want to get something with colored balls on it. I also can go to a larger gage. I think I will try that. I was told the hood is stretchy skin and it is easy to go bigger.
The piercing-I sat on a huge chair. I wasn't nervous until I got in the chair. I would compare the feeling to getting into the chair at the dentist office. It looked like something out of an old barber shop. It reclined back. I put my legs on the arms of the chair. Ted swabbed me with bedadine and made marks where the vch would go. He told me to take a deep breath and when I did he inserted the tube through my hood. It hurt! It felt like a sting and a stab at the same time. But it didn't last long. It was not really a bad pain but I cannot think of anything to compare it to. I screamed more than once. My legs straightened out and I could imagine myself tensing up to the point I would push the chair over. I told Ted about that after & he said "I would have stayed with you even if it meant jumping on top of you." How nice, I think!?! It hurt when he took the tube out. It was done. It was over before I knew it. I had a 16 gage curved barbell through the hood of my clit. It looked really nice. I never really thought it would look pretty, I was just doing it so I could say I did it. But I really like the way it looks. This was Friday September 1st, 2006. Three days ago. Happy Birthday to me.
After it was done it didn't hurt at all. Every once in a while I felt a slight sting like when you put alcohol on a small cut. I went dancing with friends that night and had no problems. Saturday was the first time I had sex. It was still tender but I was still able to have an orgasm. Climax is easy because my boyfriend has an apadravya. I can't wait for the sparatic orgasms to happen, that I've heard so much about. I'll be taking the gravel road home every day.

When I first told my family and friends I was going to get a VCH they didn't flip out but they didn't understand why I would ever get that done. A few tried to talk me out of it. They knew a little info on the subject and they were sure I would never be able to have an orgasm again. They told me horrible stories that were not true. Now that I went trough with it, which friends and family thought I wouldn't, I know some of them are thinking twice about it. I don't know yet if this will improve sensitivity in that area. If it stays the same that is fine with me. I normally have multiple orgasms thanks to the skill of my partner. But doing this for me & knowing I have my clit pierced is exciting in itself. When I was viewing the pictures of pierced female genitals it was exciting just looking what other people have had done. I don't think I could ever come close to the extremes that other people have gone to.
The only advice I have is, if you want to get pierced do it for yourself. I think it is a very personal experience. It does hurt but only for a few minutes. I would definitely do it again. In a couple weeks I go for new jewelry. I am thinking about getting my nipples done. If so I'll tell you how it went.
