If anyone would have asked me a few years ago if I would ever get pierced "down there" I would have cringed. It's funny what you do to get over a guy. I had been toying around with the idea of a VCH for about a year when I brought it up to my current boyfriend. Needless to say, he didn't think it was a good idea, so I left it alone. A few months later, we broke up. I was pretty bummed, but I was dealing. Around the time of my birthday I finally just said screw it and called the shop in Auburn to see if they did genital piercing. It turns out they did, so I grabbed a friend and made the hour drive up there. It was a Wednesday night, so they were dead.
At A Glance Author Michelle Contact Michelle@bme.anon When Six months ago Artist Jon Gault Studio Voodoo Needle Location Auburn Ashley was there that night. I remember I wore a skirt so I wouldn't have to take off my pants; the piercing itself was embarrassing enough as it is. I chose a titanium 14 gauge banana barbell for my piercing. It was pretty and tiny. After I picked out the jewelry, Ashley, me, my friend, and one of Ashley's friends all go back into the booth and I hike up my skirt. Here comes the fun part! This is where Ashley tells me that my hood is too small for a vertical and that she'd have to go horizontal. I took it as a sign that I wasn't meant to this piercing until she changes her mind and goes ahead with the vertical.
She gets set up, marks me, then she pulls out the receiving tube. I must say, having a receiving tube shoved under your hood is the strangest feeling I've ever felt. Very, very, weird. The actual pain itself was very intense. I think the insertion of the jewelry was worse than the piercing itself. It was quick though, which was really good. I didn't bleed all that much and I went back to work the next day and I was fine. It healed pretty quickly. I cleaned it using Castille soap and water in the shower every day. I tried saline at first, but it irritated my genitals.
Now, I know in the title is says triple hood project. This is where I get to that part. I was in Auburn, again, a few months later and I was talking to Jon about how I was a little upset that he didn't get to do my first hood. That's when he told me about the triple hood project. I was there to get my rook done, so we talked about the project while he was piercing me. I was interested, but just didn't have the money at the time. I came back a few months later, about 6 months after the first VCH. I took another friend with me this time. But the one mistake I made was not wearing a skirt. So, we get into the booth and Jon checks me out. And he pokes. And he prods. About 20 minutes , and very many interesting comments about what he was doing to me, he asks my friend to put on a glove and help him out. Apparently my lips are larger than normal and he had trouble getting the tube in right because they were in the way.
Five minutes later I had a new shiny, and I was supposed to finish the project that night, but I couldn't. The second one was the same as the first. Really intense. Not too painful, but painful enough that I would remember it for the rest of my life. I didn't bleed at all with this one. So I leave and go about everything as usual. A few more months go by and I go back to see Jon. He and his apprentice are there, she holds my lips open and BAM! I have three VCH piercings. It really is a wonderful piercing. I have 16 gauge banana barbells in the two side piercings. I never in my life thought I would ever have anything so beautiful. I love my piercings. I highly recommend them.
The few pieces of advice I can give are wear a skirt. It makes it a lot easier, and a little less uncomfortable. Don't worry about your body. If you go to a good piercer, it should be just like going to the doctor. He's probably seen it all. And if he works in a small college town like Auburn, he literally has seen it all. Try really hard not to be nervous. It helps to bring a friend with you, that way if you're too shaky afterwards, someone else can drive. No, you won't have an orgasm going up the stairs. But yes, in my experience, it does make sex a little more interesting....thanks for reading!!
