I thank my father for sparking my interest in the fabulous culture of body modification. He's got a couple of really hot tattoos which earns him some cool points. But I really thank him for being such an ass which made me part of the cliche of rebellious teens who want to pierce everything. Thanks Dad!

So moving on...I started out young (which I don't recommend) and got my belly button pierced at age 15. Then got my tongue pierced soon after that. Not too long after that I got a second tongue ring, then my right nipple. That turned out to be a waste because it started to migrate forward and I almost ended up with half a nipple. So since I was so bummed out, what else to do but get another piercing to cheer me up and I got my eyebrow pierced. All in all I ended up with 14 piercings. The question of the week at high school became.."So what are you gonna pierce next Lauren?" I really shocked them when my answer was "My clit!" Oh yeah, I really got 'em with that. Don't get me wrong I didn't get these piercings to get attention or anything, I just really became addicted and loved to get pierced. All my piercing beautify what ever area they are on and I don't regret any of them at all. I love my sexuality and I'm an extreme type of girl so the interest popped in my head one day and I began my research. (I strongly recommend researching anything type of body modification that you get) I learned what the exact spot was that I wanted pierced. The vertical hood is the best in my opinion. Its a very thin piece of skin (which minimizes the pain factor), the jewelry would sit right over the clit (which maximizes the pleasure factor)...i couldn't go wrong! With the help of BMEZINE stories and other medical type of Websites, I was convinced that piercing my clit would be a fantastic investment. I don't hear any stories of losing sensation or really bad infections, horrific pain or anything that would turn me off of the idea...so I went for it! I couldn't wait!!

One day after school I took one of my girls to the same spot that I had all of my other piercings done at. The piercer was so used to seeing me so he wasn't that shocked when I told him what I wanted. I had on a skirt which made it more convenient for me and him. I'd only recommend wearing really loose sweat pants or a skirt. Also what I did was I brought some wipes, just so I could be extra extra fresh for the occasion. So before I laid down to spread 'em, I took care of that little business. Anyway, I picked out the jewelry that I wanted. It was a 14 gauge curved bar (like a belly ring) with a blue diamond. He closed off the area where it would be done and put on GLOVES. I removed my undies and laid back for him to mark where the piercing would be. He used a NEW marker and made a small dot next this cute birth mark I had on my hood. He showed it to me in the mirror and I said, "Go for it man!" I grabbed my friend's hand so tight and he put the STERILIZED forceps where the small mark was (that's just to get a better grip of the skin and to move it away from my clit). He told me to take a deep breath and on 3 it would go in. 1...2........3......the NEW needle was in! He then slid in the jewelry as the needle slid out. He tightened up the ball on top and I was done! He handed me the mirror to look at my new piercing and I was in love at first sight! That instantly became my favorite piercing! It really made my whole vagina look prettier! I couldn't wait for it to heal and try it out! It really didn't hurt that much at all!

Well, I got up and he began to explain how to care for it. Surprisingly he said all I really needed to do was piss and that would be enough. I didn't need to spray bactine or anything on it. I don't know if that was the proper thing to tell me but I didn't get any infections and it did heal rather quickly. When I showered I would soap it up a little bit and it didn't really sting at all. Pissing didn't hurt at all either. Walking didn't hurt and damn did I love to be late and run up the steps for school =) It swelled up a little bit but nothing to make it uncomfortable. I was able to work and go to school just fine. It was real sensitive for the first couple of weeks and I enjoyed every second of it! Its been two years and I still love my vertical hood piercing. I've tried different body jewelry since then like using tongue rings, hoops, and different sizes, too. I'm going to soon try the new vibrating tongue ring that I've seen in a couple of shops. That should be interesting! I've been able to leave it out for weeks at a time and it would never close up.

If your reading this for research and you are contemplating the thought of getting your hood pierced....this is a definite recommendation! Just do it! Don't be nervous because its not bad at all! You'll love the outcome and you won't regret it at all! Make sure you take notice of all the little things like new or sterilized tools that your piercer uses. Make sure your hood is the right size for the piercing. Make sure you approve of where he/she makes the mark for it to be done. And make sure your in a clean place. Don't rush into it and make sure you are 100% comfortable with your piercer. They should make the experience very comfortable and private. Do your research before you go and have it done because there are other options that I am sure are equally as rewarding. For me personally, there's something so sexy about having this little secret down there and trust me...it does increase the pleasures of sex for sure!!
