I would like to start by saying this was a great experience! I have wanted one for a year, but just recently worked up the nerve.

I check on-line and called people all over my immediate area. I kept coming back to Matt. He seemed to have the most experience, and was very good at answering all my questions. I emailed him and called him on the phone. He made me feel very comfortable. When I walked into Alpha-Omega, it was a clean and very friendly environment. Everyone there was very professional and helpful.
I will start by saying I have given birth twice. I have three Tattoos, and several ear piercing. I had my navel done once, but it was rejected due to the jewelry being too small. I am no sissy to pain, and I love art. I consider piercing an art.
My husband of 16 years and I have looked at several pictures of these piercing, and find them beautiful. We decided if I could find a repeatable person, I would get it done.
I love jewelry. I am a big fan of Sterling Silver and Turquoise. Must be the Indian and Portuguese in me. I wear fifteen rings on my hands, six earrings, anklets and bracelets.
Well, lets start at the morning of my piercing. I awoke at about seven in the morning, unable to sleep well. I was nervous. When I finally arrived at Alpha-Omega, there was someone to greet me right away. I said I was there to see Matt. Matt actually came out and greeted me himself. It was very comforting. He referred me to a young gentleman to pick out my jewelry. I must say this was my favorite part! Did I mention I loved jewelry? They had surgical steel, silver toned ring there, plus a Turquoise ball to go on it. My favorite!
It was wonderful when Matt came out to talk to my husband and I before the procedure. He shared stories and experience with us. It made me very comfortable, and mad me trust him even more than I already had. He was a fun person. I enjoyed his humor, and his professionalism.
Then we were escorted into his "Office". There, I met his wife. Tiffany was a doll. She is very professional, and fun. She really helped me feel more comfortable, even though my husband was there with me. Matt was awesome at talking me through this process step by step so there was no unexpected sensations. He talked me through the entire procedure while it was happening, step by step.
All right, now I'm finally on the bed with my feet in the stirrups. (Never been there before.) It was comfortable. He made sure the room was private and secure. Anything it took to make me comfortable, he did. (Although I'm not too shy of a person, I appreciated the gesture.)He proceeded to talk me through the cleaning process, and then came the clamp. Not bad. It took a while for him to find the prefect position. I was cool with that. I want it to be pretty as well as functional, right? Then, after discussing with Tiffany my love of Turquoise, she brought over some beautiful balls for me to choose from; not knowing I already chose one.
Okay, now for the tough part. Matt was ready to pierce me. He told me to take several deep breaths, in through the nose, out through the mouth. I did this tree times. On the fourth exhale he pierced. I must say, I did yell a bit. It was a very painful second or two. That was it! No feeling while the jewelry went in. Directly after, there was no pain at all. He gave me a mirror at this point to make sure I approved. It looked beautiful, and the bead hit at the exact point I wanted it to. (Doorknocker.) He gave me a hand sitting up on the table after we were done. He still proceeded to be social, and make me comfortable. No time rush, he wanted to make sure I was all right. I suddenly felt a strong bond with this man. We had just went through a major thing together.(Tiffany too.)
Well, as far as the after care, he was perfect there also. Even had on hand a Carefree Panty liner incase of any spotting, a very secure man in my book.
I was initially afraid to sit up, but soon discovered there was no discomfort at all. Even the first cleaning was not as painful as I expected. Matt offered all the supplies I needed for my after care, at a very reasonable price. A good investment as far as I'm concerned, to protect the initial investment of the piercing itself.
I plan on getting my Navel done soon. I would trust no one else but Matt. Yes, they may cost more if you are looking around, but you pay for quality, and it's worth it.
Alpha-Omega even will see you if you have any problems with a piercing, feeling of fit, or decide to change your jewelry. You can go back in and they will assist you in these matters. They are also available to answer any questions you any have through out the life of your healing process. No other place I looked at had that quality of customer service.
If you want a personal piercing, or any piercing, I say go see Matt at Alpha-Omega! If you are in an area where you cannot get to this place, my advice is keep looking for that kind of quality. Do not settle for less. After all, this is your body we are talking about, yes?
