I got pierced just last Friday. I don't have many body mods, but I can say it is the least painful so far. Starting from the night before this is my story--

Woke up fairly early (6:30 I believe) and made sure to eat again and hopped in the shower to shave my bits, as I didn't want to be ungroomed and scare Randy (the piercer) off. My day was filled to the brim with things to do and I wasn't quite sure how I was going to fit it all in.
The shop opened at one and I made previous plans to go to yard sales with a friend beforehand. Right afterwards I had to go to work. Timing was everything right after money. For some reason every time I have the money to get pierced or tattooed something comes up and I'm broke again so I knew i had to get it done that day.
I go to the sales and manage to only spend about 15 bucks. Fantastic... means I can tip more. Get downtown around 12:40 and grab a bite to eat (hummus and black bean sandwich on wheat, iced green tea with soy milk) and smoke a cigarette (i quit but it seemed like a good time to start up again as stressed as i was) and walked to the shop. I'd called Randy the day before to let him know what I was coming in for and when and I'd already gone to look at jewelry so I knew what I wanted. He told me to have a seat in the waiting room while he did a stretching on someone else and had me fill out the usual forms and what not. He came out of the tiny little room and asked if I'd eaten, explained the cleaning procedure with the autoclave and everything and took me back to make sure I was built for the piercing. I made sure to wear a comfy loose skirt so I wouldn't have to take that off as well as my undies. Better to make the whole procedure as comfortable as possible. He looked and to ld me I was a perfect candidate for the piercing and decided on a curved barbell 7/16th's of an inch long. Just plain stainless steel, no jewels or black light receptive beads (not exactly my fancy)
Waited about ten minutes while the jewelry and such got autoclaved. Went back into the room. He told me a bit more about the care of the piercing and said that it is an intense piercing but a very easy one to take care of afterwards. Got into the stirrups and he explained that the receiving tube would feel a little strange. It actually hurt quite a bit but I was set on this piercing as I've always had little to no feeling in my clitoris (it's very small) and figured it might help a bit. Randy explained to me that he does everything on an exhale that I should breathe in my nose out and out of my mouth, all stuff I knew but never had a piercer actually do while piercing me. He cleaned the area, explaining each step, and finally told me to breath in deeply and out. I did so and as soon as the needle went through I jerked back. I've got an enormous threshold for pain but this was like none other. The great thing about it is it only lasted a second. As soon as the needle was thro ugh it stopped. Getting the jewelry in didn't even hurt. I paid and he gave me a bag filled with cleanser, sea salt, a card for the shop, a sticker, and a mini snickers (which I appreciated but did not eat). I had the high... the high that I've always gotten from body mods. It was quite nice.
About 10 minutes later I was at work. I'm a nanny and I take care of a 6 month old and a 19 month old so this involves lots of running around after them, holding them, and who knows what else. The piercing never gave me a bit of trouble.
I haven't had sex (solo or otherwise) but I can already tell a difference of feeling when it moves. I can't wait to test it out which will be in a week or two just to be safe and make sure there's no discomfort.
All in all the best possible experience. I would refer anyone to Randy. He made me feel totally comfortable and relaxed. It looks a bit different then the samples on here... I don't have a lot of excess barbell hanging out... which I'm completely happy with. I still can't believe I finally went through with it though. It's perfect.
So thats my experience. I plan to have many many more, the next being both my nipples!
