First of all I would like to say I have gotten several body piercings throughout the years. In all these years I've always said I will never pierce below the waist. I even said this a month ago when I got my nipples done.

Location Albuquerque, NM Well I found BME and started reading the experiences when I decided to go ahead with my nipple piercings. Well after I got my nipples pierced I went back to BME and was just reading about people's experiences with different piercings because I knew I wanted more piercings but I just wasn't sure what I wanted.
I read several stories on genital piercings, mostly clit piercings and hood piercings. Then I started getting a little itch and started getting more and more curious about the genital piercings. One day I decided to call the place I get my piercings at. I was told that for sensation and stuff a vertical hood piercing was the best, with a straight barbell. I asked about the pain, the healing, and all that stuff.
A few days passed by and I started talking more and more about doing it. My best friend told me to just stop talking about it because she knew that deep down inside my mind was already made up and I was going to get it. Well I made my final decision on saturday and went and got pierced on sunday.
So, sunday finally came I had worked graveyard shift at my job and the piercing shop didn't open until noon. My best friend and I decided to go have breakfast to kill time. Well by the time we were done with breakfast it was only 11. So I decided to go home and take a shower. I took a shower and watched a little TV until it was noon. Finally we were on our way to the shop.
I got to the shop and no other customers were there. So I talked to the guy at the counter, told him what I wanted and he showed me some pictures, talked to me about my options, and I told him I was going to go ahead and go with the vertical hood. So he got all the paperwork, talked to me all about the procedure, and stuff like that, copied my drivers license and had me sign the paperwork.
Shawn (the piercer) came to the front and took me to a room in the back. He had me sit down on a bed sort of thing that had a paper over it. Next to it was a tray with the instruments, the needle and the jewelry. He first talked to me about all the stuff on the tray and showed me it was all sterile, and being used for the first and last time. All the things were sealed. He then talked to me about the procedure and exactly how it would go.
I was sooooooo nervous!!! Shawn talked to me for abut fifteen minutes about all sorts of things, like the other things I have pierced, his piercings, and just stuff so that I could begin to relax. After he felt that I was pretty relaxed he asked if I was ready, I said yes and took off my shorts and panties. He had me lay back and put my feet in stirrups (like at the gynecologist). He told me everything he did as he was going. First, he cleaned the area with an antibacterial soap, then he marked the needle. After that he proceeded to place the receiving tube where it needed to be. I think this took the longest, he said it had to be placed just right. After he got it just perfect he said he was ready to do the piercing. He had me take three deep breaths. On the third one he had me take a breath as deep as I could and let it out slowly. On the exhale he put the needle through.
I won't lie and say it didn't hurt. It was an intense feeling of pain, but it only lasted a second. By the time I was done with my exhale he was telling me that he was now going to put the jewelry in. It hurt just a little bit when he put the jewelry in. Then he cleaned the area again and I got dressed, thanked him several times and was on my way home.
I must admit that I was pretty shocked because after I got home I had no pain at all. This was yesterday, and in fact I haven't had any pain at all. For a second there I thought maybe the jewelry fell out (he he). But it didn't. It looks absolutely beautiful and I'm so happy that I got it. It's only been two days so I haven't been able to test it out, but I can't wait until I do!!!!!!!!!!
