Well let me tell you first off that this is not my first piercing. I have my tounge,both tragi,both nipples and a horizontal hood already. I decided to go for the vertical also because I love the look of a double pierced hood, (thanks BME). Oh yes I have spent many an hour perusing the female genital piercing section and thinking oh yeah I gotta have that. I am 30 years old, married with a thirteen year old son and I consider myself to be a very sexual person so hey any extra stimulation is a good thing, right? So, enough about me let us get to the good stuff shall we.
It was a day like any other only today I was getting the vertical hood piercing I had been waiting all year for. I had gotten the horizontal first because Henry had told me it was easier to do it first, and frankly I wanted it worse and was afraid the pain might be too much for me to do it again, but fortunately it didn't hurt. I was nervous of course but after all my other piercings I felt I was ready for this one. I arrived at 23rd street with my sweet hubby in tow to see Henry (the best piercer I have ever had the priviledge of being stuck by) and get the vertical hood he had heard so much about. I chose my jewelry, a small 12 gauge barbell in the standard surgical stainless steel. I try to keep it simple in the beginning I figure I can get more extravagent after I am healed up. I paid my money about 60 dollars and was told once again about aftercare procedures, I know them so well by now soak with sea salt, wash with provon.
Now for the moment of truth. I was escorted back to one of the piercing rooms and Henry was very good about explaining the procedure to me. Strangely enough I was more concerned about the receiving tube than the needle. So I dropped trou for the second time and was ready for the magic to begin. First I was marked, to insure my satisfaction, and I approved the placement. And just as I expected the insertion of the receiving tube was uncomfortable to say the least, but we must suffer to be beautiful. He asked me if I was ready and said those words, "relax your breathing , now inhale,and exhale"
and I felt the shocking, mind altering ,but not painful, sensation of cold steel going through the tender flesh of my most intimate of areas.
Then he inserted my jewelry and Voila I was pierced again. The proud owner of a twice pierced pussy, my own double hood. I sat up to admire it in the mirror and was very pleased with the results.
Now I am very dilligent about my aftercare. I soak two times daily in a mixture of warm sea salt water and wash with provon at the end of every shower. My beautiful new hood was ready for fun in just a few days. I was a little tender for the first few days but the warm sea salt soaks do wonders for that.
All in all I say ladies pierce your hoods,don't deny yourselves and your men the awesome experience of a beautiful pierced hood. The vertical does give a lot more stimulation than the horizontal but they make a really great pair. I find the horizontal to be more aestheticly pleasing but for a good nubbin rubbin you can't beat the vertical. Besides I cant help but giggle when I hear the sound of clanking metal coming from my husbands pierced tounge hitting my pierced hood. It's a virtually painless procedure and with good aftercare healing time is almost nill. I love my double hood. It looks great and it feels great. As Martha Stewart says "It's a good thing"
