To start off, my parents are incredibly strict about any form of body modification. So, I decided that I needed to get something that I could easily hide from them. My manager at work was naming off piercings one day and I decided that the hood piercing would be the nicest and the best for me. So, over the course of about 3 weeks I convinced myself that I needed to go and get it done. Everyone at my work goes to the same place to get pierced so I figured since they went there, I would go there.

Finally, I got off and 3 friends of mine came with me to go get my first piercing. I was driving my car, and I was getting more and more nervous about getting something done. I was actually more nervous about dropping my pants in front of someone then getting the actual piercing. Funny how that works! We got there and it looked like a small place that was mostly for tattoos. As I walked in, I could smell how clean and sterile the place actually was. It totally smelled like a hospital! Of course, the smell didn't really help my stomach any because I was already a nervous wreck by that point! Anyways, I sat down in this big chair they had in the front and I can totally remember the swishing sound it made when I sat down or stood up. That helped me a little bit with my being nervous. Then, I heard the tattoo guns going off in the other room and that just made me sink back down into the chair.
Finally, A guy came out, completely covered in tattoos. He had at least 10 facial piercings. This sort of stunned me considering I was already nervous about dropping my pants! He introduced himself to me and said his name was Nathan. Hes been piercing for 6 years so I felt sort of comfortable with him after a few seconds. He took my ID and made a photocopy of it for his records just so he has proof of my age...for obvious reasons. My friends were fighting over who got to go into the room with me because he said that he prefers having one other person in the room so that I can't do a lawsuit saying that he was doing something he wasn't supposed to do.
Finally I just walked away from my friends and said whoever wants to come in can just follow me. So my friend Cindy came with me in the room. Nathan sat me down and explained every little detail of what he was going to do. He showed me the ring he was going to be using (14G). I sat down on the bed/chair in the next room and he told me to drop my pants. I was like, WHAT! He just smiled and said just kidding. I was like whoa. He washed his hands 2 times and cleaned the jewelery a few times as well. That made me feel a lot more comfortable too. Then he told me it was time to start the process. Boy did I get nervous!
I took my pants off and put them in the corner of the room. Then, he told me that he had to clean the area where he was going to pierce, obviously my hood and surrounding areas. He used some kind of cleansing stuff and it BURNED really bad. He said it would open my pores a little more which will make it better. He changed gloves each time he would clean it. He cleaned it 3 times. Then he cleaned the ring again and took the needle out of the package. He explained to me that the second he pierces it, I will want to snap my legs together because its a reflex that we all have. He said he gets hit in the head all the time from girls doing that. I just laughed. Not even 2 seconds later, I felt the needle go through and that was it. It was less than a second of pain! I did however, snap my legs together like he said I would! He put the ring in place and that was it. He cleaned it 3 more times to stop any bleeding.
I was done! I couldn't believe what I had just done! Over the course of the next few days, It was a little sore. Totally bearable though. It makes any type of pleasure down there a lot more enjoyable because the ball sits right on the clit. I just recently changed my ring on my own to a 14g curved barbell. Its a lot more comfortable and sits just right. I totally encourage anyone to go get this piercing done. It is WELL worth it!
