ok to start off i am a big baby when it comes to piercings. i have a very low tolerance for pain and all that kinda stuff. when i got my bellybutton pierced i bled a little bit and passed out from the sight of it.
At A Glance Author anonymous Contact anonymous@bme.anon Artist Jess Studio Steel Flesh Location Altoona well my story starts when i was walkin through town with my mom. we walked by steel flesh and i decided to pop in to see if one of my friends was working tonight or not. when i stepped in there was nobody in the waiting room so i went to the front desk/display case and rung the bell. a lady came out and asked me what i was in need of and i told her i was looking for my friend. she told me that my friend wasnt working tonight and we got to talking. we got on the subject of genital piercings.
i was talking to her about hers and she said she had her clit and a vertical hood. i said i would love to have a horizontal hood so she asked if i would want to go in th back and see if i was alright for a horizontal hood.
i went in the back with her and i stripped down (waist down) and sat in the dentist looking chair. she inspected me and kinda poked around then she smiled and said that i would be fine to pierce.
then she asked if i still wanted it or not and i said sure since i was there. she had an assistant of hers go out and have my mom fill out papers while she got prepared to pierce me.
she got out the needle and all the others things she needed and then came back over. she sat down and marked me with a little blue marker to see if it was straight then had me look at it to approve it. i said it looked fine and then she took the mirror and got the needle out.
she told me to count to three. when i was on two i felt the needle going through. she then said she was done with that and she was now putting the jewelry in. once the jewelry was in she had me look. i was suprised it went so quickly. i got up and put my clothes back on. that was kinda painful but it wasnt too bad. when i went out my mom was there waiting for me. she asked me to show it to her and stupid mom wasnt thinking of what i got done then started laughing. so as we were paying she also told me my aftercare instructions and how to clean it. walking home was kinda like a pain in the ass but it was better once i was home sitting down. it was sore for a few days after and today it hasnt been that bad. for only being four days after it really isnt too sore. im so happy that i got this done and i cant wait till it heals and looks real cute since it wont be too red. if you ever are considering getting it done i highly recommend it. and here are a few questions and answers to go along with my story and they are some questions that i had also.
does the piercing hurt?
it doesnt really hurt that bad..im not saying its painless but it isnt a horrible pain
does it get irritated much by certain clothing or underwear??
the only thing that really seemed to bother me were the underwear with the little holes and ones with lace because the CBR kept getting caught in the little holes. but otherswise everything else seemed fine.
what should you clean it with?
i was told to wash it twice a day with satin soap (liquid) twice a day in the shower and then occasionally do epsom salt soaks. but since i am near clean saltwater i usually swim in that.
what shouldnt you do during healing?
you should not have sexual intercouse or any touching of it for atleast a month and you shouldnt swim in dirty water such as lakes/ponds and stay away from public pools because they have alot of germs in them.
what is the normal healing time?
approximately 4-6 months. some peoples healing times are shorter and sometimes longer.
how can i tell if its healed?
it should no longer be sore during any type of movement and shouldnt be pussing, oozing, or bleeding. even after it is healed you should continue cleaning and the salt soaks for a while just to be safe
where are the best places to go for piercings of this type?
you should go to someone who has a good idea of genital piercings because alot of piercers dont know very much about this type of piercing. you should also make sure the place is clean and sterile especially for this type of piercing because of the sensitivity of this area.
