"oh my,neva again"

At 18 I decided to pierce my belly button thinking it would be painless like my ears.But to my surprise It did hurt, but i am a baby.It was also a rush,so 6 months after my belly I decided to get my tongue pierced. Wow did that hurt,I couldn't talk for days. But after, it was fine, and now i love all my piercings and would do them again.
In January my best friend kelley pierced her vertical hood. She said it was painless and kept talking about it. I was curious about it and wanted one of my own. It was pretty and she said it was worth it. So a week before my 19th birthday I decieded to get mine done.I researched it through the internet,read many stories on BME and also talked to my piercer Sam.I was getting all siked up that week,
I told everyone what I was going to do.I made an appointment with Sam to get it done at 12:01 feb, 19th(my b-day)so it was all set. All my girls were there and we drove around the town till 11:30ish.
We went in and i started to get nervious.I sat in the chair and watched Sam get everything ready,looking at those needles made me a little shaky. The time was nearing and Sam said ok pull up your skirt,(only a piercer can say that and get away with it). My girls kelley and kari-ann were in the room with me while I was baring it all. Sam and his assitant Craig did the measuring and after about 10 minutes they told me I couldn't get a vertical hood piercing like I intended. Aparently my hood was to small for that, so Sam suggested I get a horizontal instead. He explained it to me what it was and how it would be hoop with the bead resting right on my clit. He said it wouldn't hurt really(from his point of view and as a guy who didn't have it done).
So there I was bearing all, all siked up so why the hell not go through with it. I was getting nervous with so many people in the room ,so Sam asked everyone to leave and I started to calm down. After all the marks and measering was done, he got me preped with the iodine and then clamped me up telling me to relax. I had kari-ann come and hold my hand. I was set,i had my head phones on and my walkman blasting, my eyes were closed and kari by my side. Everytime the needle came close kari sqeezed my hand so i would jump. Finally I was alright and with out a warning the needle went through."ooohhh my god" it was so painful,I sreamed so loud. Everyone in the waiting room heard it! I was there for Kelleys piercing it seems to me it was practically painless compared to this one. After that i begged him not to touch it, I was shaking hard like a leaf.
Finally after 15 minutes I calmed down thinking it was over. Boy was I wrong, next he had to put the jewlery in. W hen he took the needle out a feeling of relief swept through me. Then "Holy shit" he stuck the hoop through. It felt like he never stuck the needle through and was now just piercing it. he told me to take a deep breath because this was going to hurt just once more, he had to put the bead on.
He was telling me the after care and of course I asked when can I have sex? He said tonight as long as it was protected. Well it was 12:45am and I was walking funny. It hurt for several days, and I couldn't have sex that night or for a week after. It truly was the worst thing I ever went through and between you and me I have gone through a lot. Now 2 months after, it is all well and worth it. How ever the real question is will I ever do it again? Hell no!!!!!!!!!!!!,if it falls out and closes then oh well, it stays closed.
Sam was great about it and he still checks up with me to see if its alright. He's the best piercer around. My advice to all those in the RhodeIsland area who want to get pierced or tattooed head over to Accupicture tattoos and body piercing. It is well worth it, they always know how to make you feel at home and keep you coming back. They are clean and sterile and very commited to making you happy with thier work. So a word of advice to those who are thinking of a hood piercing....don't get a horizontal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
