I had my first piercing when I was 15 years old & yes im sorry to say it was my eyebrow. I then grew fond of piercings as I love being an individual, I then went on to get lots of other piercings but I never for a minute thought I would ever get my Clit done.

After that conversation, it stuck in the back of my mind, and I was now more persistent then ever to go through with it, not because my friends thought that I would never do it but I wanted to do it for me.
I was planning on going on holidays soon so that was the best time to do it(in case anything went wrong!).
It was a very hot summer day in January of 2004 and honestly was starting to get cold feet,so I decided to put it off for another day(luckily I was on Holidays for two weeks). After doing a little research and reading a few stories I realised that it would only be a small ounce of pain for a rather large accomplishment. I spoke to my boyfriend about it as well, after all your not supposed to have any sex for at least 4-6 weeks(or so I was told) and of course being a typical male he had no problem with me getting it done, in fact he was so supportive he even paid for it!
So with all my research under my belt and my boyfriends cash in my hand I plucked up courage and booked it on a weekday, and to my surprise I was told because I was booking it on a weekday I got 30% off my price (how cool was that).
I decided to get it done at The Piercing Shop in the city as it was my usual place to get pierced but apart from that I felt really comfortable there, and to me that is a huge thing if your getting a piercing as you are more inclined not to feel those butterflies in your stomach as bad as what you normally would.
I had to wait around 15 minutes as my piercer Lynette was a little busy with other genital piercings that morning,so while I was waiting I could'nt help but watch the clock and it was the longest 15 minutes I had ever waited in my life.
Finally they called my name to choose my jewelery and then I proceeded in to the room where the needle,clamp and jewelery was waiting for me. At this point I finally realsied WOW! I really am doing this, it was a feeling of accomplishment and fear all rolled into one. I was first asked to take off my undies and hop up onto the chair where I would be marked for my vertical hood piercing. At first I felt a little strange because someone other than my boyfriend or a doctor was looking at my fanny but I soon got over that when she explained the process and away we went.
I decided to put emla cream on before I went in and that helped a little but not as much as I thought it would,to take my mind off of what was happening lynette tried to talk to make general conversation but as she started putting the needle in couldn't help but let out a little yelp, I was so embarressed but she said that she had heard guys scream louder than me so I didn't feel to bad.
The piercing itself I was kinda cool with but, the jewelery was the most uncomfortable part as it was small and fiddley but lynette did her best to make it as comfortable as she could. After everything was all over I felt fantastic and it didnt bleed or anything. 2 weeks after, it was a little uncomfortable for example everytime I would go to cross my legs I got a little reminder that there was now something there.
The piercing shop were abosloutley fantastic with all of the advice and information they had given me. After about 5 weeks I decided to give it a test run and it was awesome, my boyfriend was also very happy with the results. Who wouldv'e thought that something so little could give so much pleasure. I am now thinking about getting more genital piercings.
Anyone who wants to get any genital piercings I would tell them to go for it as you only live once and it is totally worth it for you and your partner. Thanks again to the piercing shop for making my experience less scary and more comfortable.
