I have been going to see my piercer, James since I had my first piercing done at 18. On my first visit, as he didn't know me, he was polite but not very friendly. As the visits went on he became more and more open. As he pierces he likes to tell anonymous stories about other clients, they always fascinated me and I always wanted to become one of his "stories". Now, because of what I'm about to tell you, I finally am.

At this time I had my first miscarriage, which led to the doctors telling me I could never have children, which I foolishly believed.
Then one day, about nine months after I had my hood done, I went to the loo and heard a little "chink" noise. When I stood up I saw my ring at the bottom of the loo.
I went back to see James and he was amazed that it had grown out after so long. He re-pierced it for me behind the scar and it's still there now, six years later.
I then went on to have my labia done, according to James it was begging to be pierced.
Then what the doctors said could never happen happened, I got pregnant. I had every intention of taking out my genital piercings before I gave birth, but as I was so ill throughout the pregnancy I never got round to it. Then my son decided he wanted to be born 5 weeks early, so I went into hospital and gave birth with my hood and two labia piercings. There were a few doctors and nurses talking about me, and wanting to look...I always thought they'd seen it all.
After a few weeks of being a mum I finally got all feeling back and realized that my anatomy ad been stretched and so the hood no longer worked. I had heard that you can have your clit pierced, but there's the risk that you can lose all sensation. I spoke to James, he looked at my clit and said he wouldn't want to risk it as my clit is slightly smaller than average. I persisted for a month or so, and he finally agreed to do it, as long as I took responsibility for any loss of feeling.
So finally my time had come to have my clit pierced. I'd decided to have my scrumper done at the same time, so James got that out of the way first. I popped to the loo, (I don't know what it is about having a piercing done, but it always makes me need a tinkle.) and then went back into the studio, all anxious and excited. I removed the necessary clothing and jumped up onto the bed.
I then assumed the "smear" position, which almost all of you women out there will know-if you don't you will. James managed to numb the area with ease, before he attached the clamps. He has a technique where he uses a cotton bud to check that you're numb. He cuts one in half, so there's a soft end and a sharp edge, he then pushes on the clit (or wherever you're being pierced) with the soft end and asks if it hurts, or if you can only feel pressure, he repeats this with the sharp end. By doing this he can tell if you're truly numb. He was all ready to pierce me when the clamps slipped, so he had to wait a second to be able to entice my clit back out to re-clamp it, it really didn't want to go through that again.
Then came the actual piercing, it was over really quickly, but seemed to take a lot longer. James had no trouble with passing the needle through, but getting the ball attached to the ring was another story. With such little space to work in, and such a small ring it took all of his skill to manage it...I'm sure I'd never be able to do such a thing.
After he had done the piercing I left his studio and went home, still a little numb. That night I went clubbing with a rather large grin on my face. The sensation was fantastic; I couldn't even cross my legs without a smile. For a while it was too much pleasure all the time. Unfortunately now though, as it's about 7-8 months old I'm used to it. I'm now ready to have it stretched up so I can continue to enjoy it to it's full potential.
James was very pleased that one of his best customers was so happy with the result of taking such a risk.
To all the women out there thinking about having this done, weigh up the pros and cons. If it works it's fantastic, but are you willing to take that risk??
