I had always wanted an additional piercing ever since I got my tongue done. I thought about getting my clit pierced but, never even dreamed that I would have the guts to. My boyfriend and I had just broken up at the time so I figured that since I didn't have a man to satisfy me anymore, I would have to just do it myself. *wink* So, I decided to get myself a little present to help me out. I found bmezine through a search engine and read through most of the testimonials. After I did a bit more research I was ready to go.

A friend of mine recommended me to Scott over at The Alley, in Chicago. I also asked her to come along with me for some moral support. When we got there, I spoke to the woman behind the counter and told her what I wanted. She went back into the room to speak to the piercer. When she came back she informed me that he was going to have to take a look at it first because not many women have the correct anatomy to get it done. It was a Saturday and pretty busy, so I had quite a wait. By the time it was my turn I came into the room which looked similar to a doctors office.

Scott introduced himself and seemed very professional, yet friendly. His demeanor put me quickly at ease. So, I wasn't quite so embarrassed when he asked me to take off my pants to check to see if I was alright to pierce. He examined the goods and I passed. Yay! I had chosen a 12g 5/16" hoop for the jewelry. I asked him if he was going to numb the area, but he said that it wasn't necessary, which freaked me out a bit. He went through the procedure explaining everything slowly to me (marking the area, showing me the instruments, etc).

As I was lying down on the table staring straight up into the ceiling, I held my friend's hand tightly. He told me to take some deep breaths and let him know when I was ready. I took a deep breath in and when I exhaled he stuck the needle through quickly. I flinched while screaming out, "Oh my Goooodd!" Outside the room I heard muffled laughter and gasps. And yes, it was the whole "hurt so good- pleasure/pain" type of feeling. He put the jewelry through and handed me a mirror. I was instantly pleased. It looked great. The whole process took 30 seconds and wasn't at all what I'd thought it to be. He cleaned me off and went through aftercare instructions with me. I had brought a pad with me since I had read that there would be bleeding.

Afterward he asked me if it was as bad as I expected. It wasn't bad at all, it was my anxiety that got the best of me. We chatted a bit more and he told me I was his 13th clit piercing (lucky number 13, heh). Most women get their hoods pierced and normally don't even know the difference between the two. Go figure. But, I was so happy with the procedure I had to give him a big hug. I would recommend Scott to anyone. He was awesome! Walking and sitting were still pretty comfortable for me. I was walking around the mall later on that day.

The bleeding stopped after about a day. I figured I was healing pretty well, so after about 5 days I decided to wear a pair of tight jeans; that was an no-no. This had caused it to bleed again, not that it hurt, but, I'm sure it deterred the healing process. Not only that, it probably caused my piercing to be a bit crooked. I couldn't carry on my jogging routine for about two weeks. I didn't want to play with it at all until a month later. It was healed for the most part, but kind of stung when I played too roughly. I had it changed to a 14g hoop which helped a bit.

I took the hoop out just to see the difference without it and with a straight barbell instead. Hehe, I DID have a lot of fun doing this, but I couldn't place that damn little ball back in the hoop. Do NOT attempt to change the hoops unless you now how to! Have your piercer change your jewelry; it's worth the trip. It's been a lil over four months since I got it done and I've had a lot of fun with it. It doesn't enhance the whole sexual experience as much as I'd like it to. It still stings when I play too roughly. I haven't had any tremendous orgasms but, I'm hoping it will heal soon so I can have more fun.

If you go to get anything pierced you should go to a piercing ONLY studio, not those piercing/tattoo parlors. Common sense... c'mon now. Make sure that you are comfortable with the person and that they know what they are talking about. A good piercer wants to make you feel at ease and is patient. If anyone has any questions, feel free to contact me. I'll try to help you as best I can.
