I have to say that my piercing is pretty mild compared to some of the things I have seen on this website. I hope my pics don't bore you.
At A Glance Author BiFluvsBiM Contact bifluvsbim@aol.com When Five years ago Artist Tom Studio Wicked Location Berkeley, CA I had never thought about piercing myself even though I am really open-minded. That is until I met a guy with a Prince Albert, wow that was fun.... not to mention damn cool looking. After that I thought about a clit piercing often. I had heard of women having orgasms just from going over speed bumps, I am not sure how true it is but it sounded good to me. My point in getting one was to regain sensitivity. I can reach orgasm myself with no problem but others can't get me to that point. Yes, I have had the right person doing it; it's just me.
I had to wait forever to get one; none of my straight friends would go, bunch a wussies. Every time I mentioned it to friends they thought I had finally shocked them (laugh). Finally, a friend of mine from the Internet came to visit me. She was more than happy to go with me. I didn't shop around; I went into the first place we came to in Berkeley, Wicked.
I told them that I was interested in talking to someone about the clit piercing but that I thought maybe my clit was too small. My friend and I went into the room where Tom poked and tugged at me to get me to my fullest size, he said I was big enough but barely.
I was scared to death. I have tattoos and remembered what a whimp I was then. I didn't look at the instruments, I was too scared I wouldn't go through with it if I saw the needle. My friend held one leg and I took his warning seriously about not closing my legs in pain because I would stab myself.
The only pain was the needle going in and the threading of the ring going in. Yes, I screamed and I cried. There was only a curtain between me and the other people in the store, which is also a Clothing store and Head shop. I was sure I would have an audience when I came out, and I did. I said "Yes, I am the screamer".
My friend said there was a fair amount of blood but like I said...I never looked. Before I knew it, it was all over. I was so happy to have it finally done and wow it was sooooo cute! Now, if it worked remained to be "felt". This was the first place we went to in Berkeley so we still had a lot of walking around to do, Tom said I should be fine, which I was. I was wearing slightly tight jean shorts and still had no problem. It burned just a little bit. I couldn't wait to get home and stare at it!
So, once I got home I was afraid to go pee, fearing the burn. I called my mom, who is totally cool. She suggested peeing in the shower, great idea mom!
I wasn't supposed to use it for 2 weeks, of course I couldn't wait that long, I just had to make sure I didn't do any damage. I didn't play with IT, I played just above it...it still worked, whew!I never had a problem with infection, pain, swelling or any other problem that could have happened. I washed it faithfully twice a day for 2 weeks with antibacterial soap like I was told.
I am sorry to report that it did nothing to regain sensitivity. No better or worse. Since it is so cute I will probably keep it as long as I can. A couple of weeks ago I went back and talked to a woman about a bigger ring and if that might help with the lack of sensation. She was surprised to hear it didn't work for me and asked if I had even felt the piercing (laugh) I told her about the screams. She suggested a triangle piercing, I told her I would think about it, but at this point I think I am happy with what I have and don't have any plans for anymore piercings.
I have had my clit piercing for about 3 years now, I love it just as much now as I did then. I tell just about everybody! They all think it's the hood but I make sure to take full credit for being through the actual clit.
I finally got pictures taken this last weekend and was looking for a place to post them, that is what led me to this site. I don't have too many angles because I mostly took the pictures to show my friends on AOL.Happy piercing everyone!
