Clit piercing x 2 and the nicest piercer ever! |
| ||||||||||||||||
Well I wrote earlier about getting my hood done, and I looked into getting my clit pierced. I had to start phoning around various shops because the place where I had previously been, does not perform clit piercings. The first place I phoned was Pair-o-dice and I was sold. I asked how long their piercer had been piercing, whether he had ever had problems with this particular type of piercing, if he used anesthetic, and of course when I could come in to get checked out.With all this in mind, I headed out on a Saturday - with the only purpose of getting "looked" at. I arrived at about 3 pm and that's when I met John. He was the coolest guy ever! He answered all my questions and thankfully after measuring me, he told me that I was an appropriate size for this piercing. YAY! I showed him the CBR that I had previously had in my hood, but he said that it would probably be too big to put in my clit - at least for the initial piercing. Hrmm.. I had planned on cutting costs by using my own ring, and I explained this to John when he showed me the mini barbells he usually uses. No problem though! John said that he wouldn't charge me for the mini barbell. I was extremely grateful! So now the moment of choice, do I want to get this done now? Damn right! So I ran up the block to the place I was living and came back in about 10 minutes wearing a skirt. Speedy Gonzales anyone?!
So there I was chatting away with John while we waited 25 minutes for the EMLA cream to set in. I was looking at the price list on the wall and I perked an eyebrow. "There's tax??? I only brought $45 exactly..uh oh.." No problems though! John said he'd waive the tax. I couldn't believe how nice he was being! I mentioned to him that I had a nickel allergy, and that's why I was so picky about using Titanium only. John was curious if I would have a reaction to the implantation grade steel, so he gave me a free hoop in my ear. Sweet! So after the 25 minutes, the cream had done its job and now the procedure began. I just flipped through a magazine of body jewellery and tried to keep my mind off things. Not an easy thing to do!! I kept glancing over at the table and saying, "I still see the needle sitting there...you haven't started yet....uh oh....this cream better not wear off....I had better not feel this!" I was probably being terribly annoying, but it didn't seem to phase him. I felt a little bit of pressure, but no pain. Afterwards John gave me a lollipop and left the room to let me change. I had to peek! So I looked in the mirror and WOAH..what's going on? It was crooked! So John comes back in and I'm laughing, asking whether it was supposed to go up and down. Yup, it was. "Well it doesn't..." So I showed him and he got really upset. He felt so bad! The clamp had slipped on him when he used the cork, and so there I was with a crooked clit ring. It didn't even go straight through my clit, so that's why I didn't feel anything!
So he told me not to pay him, and to come back in a few days to get it done again. It didn't bother me, as long as it got corrected eventually things were still good =) So I walked out of there happily and continued to keep the "mistake" clean. I returned in 3 days and it was back to the "little feety things" as John calls them =)
This time we left the EMLA on for half an hour, which I thought would be just dandy; however, this time we were not gonna be making any mistakes and so my clit was gonna get hit no matter what! And yah, it did hurt. It wasn't unbearable though. It wasn't like the hood piercing either, where there was a sharp pain for a fraction of a second. This was a weird pain. It basically was humming and pinching. John was so great, he kept asking me how I was doing and really calming me down. I just took really deep breaths and tried to concentrate on the magazine I was reading. As soon as he took the clamps off, it felt 100 times better! Putting in the barbell was a teeny bit uncomfy when he was trying to screw on the ball. His fingers kept brushing against my clit, which was obviously quite irate with what was going on!
He checked it after he was completely done and smiled happily, proclaiming that he had redeemed himself. I laughed and checked it out myself. YAY!! Straight up and down =) I got another lollipop and John left once again to let me get dressed. When he returned he told me that my piercing was free, because he goofed up the first time and inconvenienced me. It was no problem for me to come back, but he insisted that was his policy, and that I should save my money for when I wanted something else done (we had talked about piercing my nipples) So I asked him if he could put another hoop in my other ear, because the implantation steel didn't cause an allergic reaction. So for 10 bucks, I ended up getting ear cleaning stuff, two hoops, a clit piercing, and two lollipops!! I left there quite a happy girl!!
I am so impressed by how I was treated, even if there was a blunder on John's part. He was totally cool about it and I am an easy going girl. Everything worked out in the end and I am still trying to think of a way to thank him. I've decided that for all my piercing needs, that John is the one I am going to go to. He really is amazing! I would recommend that anyone in the Victoria area that wants a piercing, please, just go see him and you won't regret it! He's completely professional and yet really relaxing and cool to talk to at the same time. I've had my clit pierced for two days now and everything is just dandy! =)
You rule John!!!
