Once upon a time... I'd say about 3 years ago I decided that I would like to get an RPA done. I didn't need help in deciding what piercing I wanted to get, for some reason I just knew this one was for me.

3 years later girlfriend splits on me and I get the urge to finally get it done (maybe keep me outta trouble, well I thought so). Luckily at the same time a friend of mine wanted to get his apadravya done (braver man that I) so we made plans to go together, hold each others hand as friends do. However after a few failed attempts to attend at the same time we finally decided that fate was not on our side and I ended up going with an ex-girlfriend (what harm could possible arise from that situation).

On the morning of the day I had set aside for this endeavour I phoned Nicks and confirmed that Nick was in today and made a booking (thought the booking would ensure that I didn't bottle out). I spent much of the day preceding the booking attempting to not think about it, but everyone knows, the more you try not to think of something, everything reminds you of it somehow.

Finally the longest three hours of my life pass me by and I appear on Nick's doorstep with a highly amused ex-girlfriend in tow. We signed all the paperwork and sorted the money out and he led me through to the private curtained off area in the back of the parlour and started to explain the process and the care I would need to take afterwards.

Well now the time came... He laid the tissue down on the seat/table and motioned for me to sit. As unabashed as I possibly could I sat down and dropped my shorts. There's nothing like the feeling of being on a cold examining table with your pants down by your knees, never again in life could you ever feel so unnerved yet so reassured at the same time.

Nick was very good about it, he explained everything he was doing for me as I was closely inspecting the inside of my eyelids for any sign of forced entry, while a giggly girlie was hanging off my tightly clenched fist, well I was hanging on to her by this point I would imagine. This also to some degree assisted in my distractions.

Nick then informed me that the anaesthetic was the next thing to be administered and low and behold, that was probably the most uncomfortable feeling I have EVER endured, but you gotta try not to wriggle (this would only make matters worse). After a few minutes of further exposure sitting on this table waiting for the anaesthetic to take hold he tested to see if I was numb and thankfully I was. He placed a dot on the top to mark up where the piercing should penetrate and turned back to his desk to acquire his tools. I used this opportunity to remove one of my wrist bands and bite down hard on it in an attempt to re-enact a scene from Starship Troopers, except I didn't imagine Nick using a whip in the procedure, maybe my ex would thou.

"On the count of zero" Nick said followed by the fastest verse of "3, 2, 1, 0" which Nick has become renowned for in Portsmouth and a numb but strong pressure shot thru my now rapidly retracting member and he said it was all done. I thought that was quick looked down to see a needle about a foot long thru my penis and remember thinking to myself that probably a smaller piercing would be best for comforts sake.

He fitted the ring through, which in itself is not at all painful, probably could be said to be the most painful part of the entire procedure and said that I could get up now... Well, first things first of course, pants up! That was enough cold table for my now quivering arse cheeks!! Nick re-enforced any advice he gave me before the piercing and I was on my merry way.

The next morning left blood on the sheets and underwear you could quite comfortably knock someone out with. But all in all small amount of sea salt crystals dissolved in warm water and then what was dubbed as "Going Fishing", by my caring and considerate female friends, helped clean and relieve any pain. It's now been four weeks since that fateful day and I'm fully healed and feel that the experience is one that should not just be shunned for the fearful, it's like haggis, you gotta try it at least once in your life.

Well now that it is near enough healed I am considering the possibility of either having a tattoo replace my pubic area or a frenum piercing, glutton for punishment I know, but we all have our vices I guess. To anyone out there reading this as an experience to judge if they would like to endure this piercing (as I did use bmezine originally) I honestly would say it was not painful at all, just very, very uncomfortable.. The most painful part was the drive home, my ex decided to take the route with the most speed bumps, cow!
