I have been a "closet" body modification person for about 15 years now, as my job seriously frowns upon such things. I started with getting my penis pierced to prove to my now, long-since, ex-girlfriend, that getting her navel pierced wouldn't be "that bad". She thought it would hurt too much, but what could hurt worse; getting your penis pierced or your navel?

It is true when they say you can't just stop with one piercing. 15 genital piercings later, and I still want more. At this point, my favorite two piercings must be my reverse "PA's". As I don't have a digital camera, I can't send pictures yet. However, I will send them as soon as I am able.

When I went to Lucky Devil in Seattle, I told the woman at the counter that I wanted to add to my collection and get two reverse "PA's". She looked at me and said "Wow, that's going to be very intense". Little did I know what she meant. Once I started talking to my piercer, Chuck (who is totally awesome, I would recommend her to anybody), about what I wanted done, she said "Well, if anybody tells you, you do things half-way, they are really wrong"!

The marking process was time consuming, but very important. How little did I know my own anatomy. I didn't realize the crown of the penis is not symmetrical. Also, it was very important to me to make sure the placement was right while I was standing. After several markings, the exit points would be at about 40 degrees angles from the center of the urethra. My intention; little devil horns on the tip of my penis!

During the procedure, breathing is, of course, very important. Once Chuck placed the guide tube in my urethra, I imagined this is what it feels like to have a catheter. It was uncomfortable, but breathing helped. She had to move the tube around a bit, making adjustments to hit the right spot from the inside, so the needle would exit through the markings.

One last deep breath, and ... WOW! I can't lie. It hurt. It was much different than any other genital pierce I've had. The crown is much thicker, and highly sensitive, obviously. It wasn't just a simple "punch" through the skin. My first deep breath ran out half way through, and I needed to take a quick second breath to make it through the whole pierce. The needle took a little longer than I thought it would to travel through the crown. Chuck placed the 14 gauge jewelry through, which didn't hurt at all, and it was on to the next.

Again, the placement tube was inserted, and was adjusted serveral times to get the right placement. I think I was more aware of the tube the second time because of the trauma from the first pierce. One deep breath again, and it was done. The second one didn't hurt as much as the first. I can only imagine it was because my adrenaline was running pretty high at this point. The second pierce took just as long as the first, and the sensation was, as the woman at the front counter said "very intense". One more minute to place the second piece of jewelry through, and I was just about done.

Right afterwards, I looked down to see my new additions, and I was not prepared to see all of the blood. It wasn't a big deal really and Chuck told me reverse "PA's" bleed a lot, however, all of my other piercings didn't bleed half as much. Chuck told me I would experience my first "male menstrual period" for the next few days. The placement was perfect. Chuck wrapped my penis in gauze after cleaning me up, and secured the gauze in place with a plastic bag and rubber band to keep my clothes clean.

The next week was interesting. I bled for about 4 days. I often changed the dressings to keep things clean. I had to make sure I was adjusted just right while I was walking or I would be in pain. I had to be very carefull when putting my pants on or it would pinch. When I walked, I had to shorten my stride, or I would be in pain. I'm sure people at work saw me walking funny, however, I didn't care. Only if they knew!

Cleaning was painful, but the salt-water soaks definitely helped. Urinating was painful at first, and my body was still trying to get used to the feeling of something always being in my urethra. However, other than the bleeding, the healing process was similar. As always, the dull ache was there and became annoying. It was different because it was from the inside of the penis, instead of on the outside.

After about a month, I went back to Lucky Devil to change my "training wheels", and placed pointed tips at the top of my crown. Little Devil Horns!

Urinating is different now, for obvious reasons. Sitting is not always possible (in public especially) so, twisting the penis helps keep the double stream of urine going into the toilet and not on the floor or toilet seat.

I haven't experienced sexual intercourse yet, however I'm sure it will be different too. Any pressure at the tip of the penis pushes the jewelry inside the urethra, and the ends of the jewelry, at the crown, moves out. I'm not sure how comfortable this would be for a woman. Because the thickness of the crown is different, one piece of jewelry is longer than the other. When fully erect, the shorter jewelry creeps inside the urethra, and the pressure automatically sucks the jewelry piece deeper inside. This makes the other end, at the crown, creep out of course. Again, I'm not too sure how comfortable this would be for the woman.

As I said before, these reverse "PA's", are my absolute favorites. I'm very glad I did both of them together, because as intense as the experience was, I'm not sure I would have done the second one later. They are very unique and I love them!
