In the area I live the public opinion of male genital piercing is that it's something done by sleazy guys and you're pretty much the butt of a joke if you have any. People point you out to their friends and laugh at the guy with his dick pierced. It's always the first question I get asked by guys when they see me...sometimes by drunk girls "have you got your dick pierced?" to which I generally reply "suck it and see" which usually stops them asking me again and they leave me alone. I was never planning on piercing my penis at all. I'd seen many pa's and ampallangs before and they didn't appeal to me. Then one day I bought a crappy British piercing magazine, I think it was called Piercing World. It was full of biker chicks and bikers at a tattoo convention somewhere in Bristol or some godforsaken place standing around with their junk out. As I was flipping through it I found a section that was written by Mr Sebastion. I think every month he described and gave the origins of a piercing. This month it was the reverse pa. I couldn't resist the cute lil' fella...I wanted one.

The main problem was that I'm way too shy to sit spread eagle with my old man hanging down while a piercer works their magic so I had to do it myself. The only time I'd ever seen one was in that magazine and even then it wasn't a photo, it was a drawing, and the information about it wasn't too informative. I'd heard all the stories that go around like you'll bleed to death and it may never heal so I was pretty anxious about it to say the least. I decided I was gonna do it no matter what, I just wasn't too sure on how to go about it. I bought some 14ga needles from Wildcat and tried to figure out a method for doing it. I didn't have a receiving tube so I thought that the best way to do it would be to start the piercing from inside the urethra and work outwards. Now I had the method and the means I locked myself in the bathroom. I lay an old T-shirt down on the floor then covered it in toilet paper to save the carpet from the river of blood I was expecting. Then I sat on top of that, legs akimbo, psyching myself up. The psyching up part took quite a while believe me. I finally got myself in the right mind set and started. I applied a little pressure, enough to break the skin to test the water. It didn't seem so bad, I had felt worse before so now I got a little more enthusiastic about it. It was all pretty fiddly and I got the needle about half way through before I started having problems. I don't know if it was nerves getting the better of me but I couldn't push the needle any further. I had to decide whether to go all out and force that needle through or to take it out and call it a day. I had to make my mind up pretty quickly too as I was sat staring down at my chap with a needle stuck half way into it which had blood dripping out of the inside. I thought it would be best if I positioned myself so the bottom of the needle would be against the floor and I used both hands to push my penis onto it. I took a deep breath, gritted my teeth, thought of England and pushed down hard, it was through. I spent no time in getting the cbr through it and wrapping it up in toilet paper. Luckily for me the placement was spot on and it looked damn good. I was pretty proud of myself and I think deservedly so. I wasn't too excited because I still had it in the back of my mind that I could bleed to death and this thing showed no sign of easing up on the blood loss. I put a brave face on got dressed and went for dinner.

The bleeding stopped completely after about three days. Up until the third day I'd usually woke up with a damp patch of blood on my underwear but that was about all. It didn't bleed as much as I thought it would do. I'd heard that genital piercings are easy to care for because the urine cleans out the urethra everytime you pee. For the first few days peeing hurt a little but it was all ok after that. I didn't really clean it. I tried a salt water soak once but after sitting with my dick in a mug of salty water for ten minutes I thought that I could find more fun things to do with my time. The healing was a synch and the only problem that arose was when my mum was looking for something in my room and she came across a pair of my bloody undies. I was immediately confronted over this and asked "have you got a ring in your penis?". In a startling display of thinking on my feet in which I surprised myself I immediately replied "No. My new ear piercing started to bleed in the night and I just grabbed the first thing I could to soak up the blood". The last person I wanted to know that I had a reverse pa was my mum. Although a long time after she did see it as I ran downstairs in my boxershorts to answer the phone. I was happy with my new piercing. Well I was happy for a while. After about 6 months I looked down and realised there was something that my 14ga reverse pa was missing...girth.

I wanted to stretch it to a respectable size and I figured that 4mm would look good. I'd stretched my right lobe up to 1/2" using Teflon tape and it worked extremely well so I figured I'd use the tape for my reverse pa. This didn't really work out. The taped up cbr wouldn't go through the piercing and it hurt like hell. I decided to invest in a taper. I bought a 4mm taper. Now I had no experience with tapers at all so I thought that since the taper started at about 1.5mm and flared out to 4mm that I could make a jump from 1.6mm to 4mm in one step. I soon found out that this theory was wrong. When it came time to use the taper my mum was all out of Vaseline so I figured that chapstick would make a suitable replacement for lubricant. I soon found out that this theory was also very wrong. I smothered that taper with chapstick and proceeded to insert the taper. I thought it would be no big deal. That it would glide through and I'd be wearing my 4mm cbr in no time. The taper got stuck half way in. I couldn't budge the thing no matter how hard I pushed on it so I decided it would be better to leave it half way in for a week then try again. I wrapped teflon tape round the taper either side of the piercing kinda making teflon orings so the taper wouldn't come out while I slept or went about my daily duties. I didn't count on the amount of pain that was caused by even the slightest tap on that taper. I walked around like I was saddle sore for two days so as not to move that taper any more than was necessary. After the second day I got tired of the pain every time I put jeans on, went to pee and from just about anything else that involved me moving. I made up my mind that I was going to get that taper out of there and a 4mm cbr in. Fortunately there was a new tub of Vaseline in the bathroom so a grabbed that and lubricated the taper real good. Unfortunately the taper still wasn't going through much further. There was no way I was walking round with a taper hanging out of my dick any longer so I used more force. it was pretty intense to say the least, the taper wasn't moving and I was in agony. Suddenly the pain stopped and the taper slipped through, no friction at all it just slid right through. I looked down and noticed I was bleeding. I'd torn the piercing. If it hadn't of tore I would have been there for hours getting nowhere with it so the tear was a good thing in my opinion.

I'm really pleased with it now and it's one of my favourite piercngs. That's probably due to the ordeal I went through to get to the end product...I dunno, how do you brag about how much you like your dick without sounding like an idiot? I guess I'll just end it now.
