i had been thinking about getting an apadravya since last year n almost did it back in august when i was visiting friends in san francisco but i wimped out n instead got a conch. didn't stop thinking of it tho n finally, on jan 17, 98, i went fer it! what better timing too, during a big blowout chgo munch! :)i made the appointment at body basics with mad jack fer 4pm, which would give me plenty of time to grab a big hearty meal n prep meself. tim n michelle weren't helping - they kept reminding me how much time was left n building me fears! i had finally worked up the courage to go 10g n was prolly in denial cuz the constant time reminders weren't really bothering me. reality set in, however, as we were walking there! when we arrived, denial had resumed, up til lish arrived n jack sed it was time. i got really nervous n accidentally knocked some portfolios over! that n i was babbling incessantly! ugh nervousness! didn't know why i was so afraid - i was just as nervous about me nipple n PA, but those turned out just fine.
we all went upstairs n i was really sweating n shaking. jack did a really good job of calming me down with his stories of his encounter with US customs. lish was really nice too with her humorous remarks. "hi, i'm lish. i'm here to see yer cock." or words to that effect. :)
i'd calmed down a bit then jack hit me with the suggestions. 8 or 6g, he asked. eek! i had a hard enuf time convincing meself with 10! he explained that the pain factor would be similar but healing would go better at the larger gauges. i had planned on stretching to 8g, but now i had the chance to start there. ok, why not? :)
dunno when they came in but i now noticed mita n arthur were in the room. they weren't really close, just observing, n i was ok with it. jack went over procedure, aftercare, n it was time to drop me pants. i wasn't as nervous this time as i was with my PA (i kicked everyone out b4 me PA! :). got in the stirrups fer jack to examine my migrated PA. he confirmed my suspicion: there wasn't enuf tissue to support an apadravya. reverse PA it is!
jack cleaned n took measurements. i had wanted a curved bar but he didn't have any long enuf so i chose a cbr: 7/8" 8g, with a 5/16" bead. i was just fine up til i saw the receiving tube! the thing was monstrous! everyone did a great job calming me down n reminding me to breathe as the tube went in. it wasn't as bad as i remembered when i got my PA, n that was at 10g. this was it! i felt the needle touch my glans n in it went! my body tensed n i gripped the table tightly. why wasn't the needle thru yet? i groaned, pushing the stirrups. it felt like everyone had disappeared, even the music playing in the next room left. tho the pain was still sharply present, it had stabilized n i was waiting fer the needle to exit. it finally did n ppl started coming back. i remember hearing mita reminding me again to breathe. :) the pain had subsided to a strong throbbing n now was when i decided to look. i saw the needle's end, sticking out from my glans. wow, 8g looked thick! jewelry time! this wasn't as painful, n jack did great helping me relax. i could feel the tension leaving as he attached the bead. the endorphins were kicking in n i looked again. there was hardly any blood n the cbr looked kickass! imbedded in my severely shrunken penis (due to nervousness n recent pain!) the cbr looked huge! i was tremendously relieved that it was over. jack wrapped me with some paper towels n putting on the glove hurt slightly cuz it moved the ring.
on my way downstairs, i passed tim n arthur in the next room where tim was getting his helix pierced. hobbling into the waiting room, i had a big grin on my face. i had done it, at 8g even! :)
later that nite i cleaned it fer the first time. there wasn't that much blood, nowhere near as much as with my PA. urination didn't sting like i expected, tho with the cbr keeping my foreskin back n the fresh pierce, my glans was super sensitive! cleaned, wrapped, n off to sleep i went.
i only woke up once due to a painful erection, but this was still not as bad as my PA (it kept me awake constantly the first few days!). in the morning, i discovered lotsa blood! the entire paper towel was red! more cleaning n rewrap n i started my move back to skoo.
moving was pretty strenuous but my rev PA wasn't bothering me. i hoped i hadn't bled all over meself n when i checked, it was just a small spot of blood. the next day also saw some minor bleeding, so i'm keeping it wrapped fer a bit. the cbr still won't move, but i'm hoping it'll loosen soon.
wow, 8g! i'm still getting over it! :) my 15th hole! yay!
