My name is *** *****, I am 54 years old and live in a small town in northeastern ******. I am a professional at a Special Effects company, which manufactures and applies explosives for a living.
Two years ago after thinking about it for a long time, I decided that I wanted to have a reverse PA piercing. I was in Reno at a convention/trade show, with 4 of my co-workers, and did not have a lot of free time. I kept passing a tattoo and piercing shop on the way from the hotel to the show, and two nights before the show ended, I decided that this was the time. Boy what a Boo Boo.
When I entered the shop I was met by a very nice oriental gentleman who was the proprietor. I asked if he would do genital piercing, and he said, "Sure, I do it all of the time, what kind did you have in mind?" I explained that I wanted a reverse PA, and he said, "Oh, you mean a Queen Victoria." I said "Whatever you want to call it is fine, I just want it done well and quickly."
He suggested that I have the piercing just behind the glans. The only worry he suggested, was to get a large enough ring so that it would be big enough to permit an erection discomfort. I asked if he had a ring large enough, and he said that he would make one immediately.
I accompanied him to his "workshop" in a back room, and saw Niobium wire, and a small power supply he used to create colored oxides on the surface of the metal. Since electronics and chemistry both play a large role in my work, I was interested to see how he was treating the Niobium metal to color it. He placed the wire in a water based conductive solution, and passed current through the solution to cause a very thin interference pattern of color on the wire. To be sure that he had enough he treated a 4 inch long piece of the wire.
I told him to keep dipping the wire in and out of the solution which caused the color to vary from one end to the other. He had never seen that effect before, and thanked me for showing him how to make the coloration unique. After colorizing the wire which was 14 gauge, he bent it around a socket wrench it into a ring about 1 3/8 inches in diameter. I asked if he had any wire larger in diameter, and he said I should start small, and when the pierced hole stretched, to move up to a larger diameter later.
I expressed my concern that there would be some lateral stress on the position of the wire, and he said that the ring would be plenty loose, not to worry. After soaking the wire in some acetone, and scrubbing it with Betadine, I was reasonably confident that it would be sterile.
Then we went into the "Studio" and he told me take off my pants, and to sit in a recliner chair. Next came a big bunch of paper towels, with some Kleenex on top to catch any bleeding, which he placed under my penis on top of my scrotum. Then he took a small diameter tube, about 1/8 of an inch in diameter. and slipping it into my urethra, he bent the shaft of my penis to make he position of the tube inside obvious, and he marked the position of the piercing target.
Now we were getting to the nitty gritty, and I was just a little nervous. Next with a Q-Tip, he swabbed the target area, and then pushed the swab up my urethra about 1 1/2 inches. Putting the small tube back into my urethra, he bent the shaft again and said, "Does this look like where you had in mind?" I said OK, somewhat nervously, and questioned the idea of having the piercing so far up the top of my penis.
Taking the sterile needle out of the package and holding it in a kind of pliers he asked, "Are you ready?" I said " OK, Do it now." He started pushing the needle through the tube, and when it made contact with the inside of my urethra, it was not comfortable. "OK! I said. Do it!"
He started pushing and had a very difficult time getting the needle to puncture the lining of the urethra. The pain was much worse that I had imagined, and far worse than having my nipples pierced, which I had done about a year earlier. He still was not all the way through the lining, and I was beginning to chicken out.
"Go ahead and push!" I said grimacing. He took his time, and while I admit time passes slowly when you are in agony, this was taking far too long. Finally with a lurch, I felt the lining give away, and looking down saw that the needle was still not all the way through my penis.
I was getting ready to scream when he asked if I wanted to quit. I couldn't imagine putting up with this level of pain for no reason, and grabbing his hand pulled it and the needle holder upward, and the needle popped through to the outside world. As soon as it was through, the pain lessened, but I started bleeding profusely.
Then we only had to get the ring started in the needle, and pushed through the hole. That was uncomfortable, but not nearly as bad as the slow piercing. I kept bleeding non stop, and asked if he had some ice, that I could use to reduce the temperature, and help stop the flow. About half a roll of paper towels later, things were finally at a point where I could wrap some Kleenex and a couple of paper towels around my penis, and I put a prophylactic over the whole mess to keep my pants from being ruined.
"Are PA's usually this difficult?" I asked. "Well to be completely honest," he said "This is my first one."
I will admit that it took all of my willpower to keep from hurting him (killing was more to my wish, but I hate jails). I did however, refuse to pay for his experiment, because he lied to me.
The bleeding kept up for a couple of hours, and I kept soaking up the blood with towels in the hotel room (I wonder what the maids thought?) By the next morning, other that a somewhat stained bed sheet, the bleeding had dropped to a slight ooze, which was manageable.
Standing up all day at the trade show, was no picnic, but since I donate blood regularly, I really wasn't too worried about the blood loss, which was lots less than a pint total.
After returning home, I had very little difficulty caring for the piercing, but the small diameter wire started trying to cut into my glans from the back, and it wasn't healing as well as I expected. I like my coronal ridge, and since I didn't really want to see it divided into two parts, after about two weeks, I removed the original ring, and replaced it with a more oval piece of surgical steel wire which I bent to fit in our shop at work.
That did not solve the problem and the coronal ridge started looking like it was going to divide into two parts. When the area got to be 1/4 of an inch long, I quit, and removed the wire. I suspect that the stress was not enough to cut the tough lining of the urethra, but it certainly was messing with my glans. A wire of that diameter, may be suitable for a tit or navel, but not for a penis pierced the way he did it.
I still want to get the piercing done properly, and will be far more careful in my selection of the piercer. My goal is to be able to wear a wand, and now I want to have the piercing done straight through from top to bottom, so I can wear a barbell or use the wand or a PA, or a reverse PA. I hope that you found this interesting, and will emphasize to all to check the credentials of anyone that they let stick needles through them.
