Prince's Wand Expansion Tool - A Year Later

Alright. You veteran Wand wearers out there must have had a real good laugh when you read about first story entitled "Prince's Wand Expansion Tool". I soon found out, as you all well know, that it takes more than just one sounding to permanently widen a urethra. A lot more. More like hundreds of times over several months. I was in for more than I had bargained - without knowing it. But I was very determined and more than willing to put in the time and endure the pain to "expand" my dick to accommodate a 3/8" (10mm) Wand. Well, I kept shoving that 3/8" aluminum shaft into my dick until my urethra was so irritated that it began to bleed and I ended up at my doctor's office. It was a really funny scene when I asked him to look down my urethra. I have to admit, it was a bit of a thrill. It went something like this, "Hey, Doc. Look down my shaft and tell me what you see?". He thought that I had an infection and put me on antibiotics. HELL NO! THERE WAS NO INFECTION! That was just raw dick meat bleeding because I was repeatedly ramming a long metal rod down my piss-hole. I guessed that maybe I had over done it, just a little bit. So, I took a vacation from Wand wearing for about a month.

During this down time I remember reading an article from BME about PA piercings. And, from what it said, I realized that mine was too close to the tip and that it that might eventually tear out. So during my recuperation I pierced myself another 8 gauge PA hole further back. My old hole was 5/16" (8mm) from the opening, and my new one was now 5/8" (16mm) from the tip.

And then, soon after my new piercing healed - you've guessed it - I was again consumed with thoughts of shoving more metal down my shaft. It's so indescribable. You only have to do it once and then you can't stop thinking about it until the next time you're about to do it again. A lot like sex.

So, I went to The Home Depot hardware store again and bought a 3/8" aluminum rod which I cut down to 3 1/2" in length and drilled out 1/8" for pissing, screwed an eye-bolt into the tip, and tapered the end for easy insertion. I then polished it the same way I did my first "expander". It was really a thrill to piss through it for the first time, especially with the mild back pressure. This time I gave myself more time to heal between re-insertions. After about 4-5 days, I was ready again. I was soon successfully and enjoyably wearing my home-made wand for a few hours about one or two days a week. But, it was still a bit painful to put in and my dick was sore afterwards for the the next day or two.

I was searching for a solution which would help me gain more comfort and a longer wearing time when I came across another BME article entitled "Head Meatotomy to Allow a Prince Wand Insertion". So, I decided to try it. I did several cuts with a straight razor over the next several days. I never really cut far enough into the tissue to make any real change to my urethra, though it was a real thrill to do it. The feeling of a razor's edge slicing into the flesh of my dick was truly awesome. Well, anyway. I found some other information that was very interesting in a human anatomy book. The first 3/8" of the male urethra is called the "navicular fossa". Then the urethra narrows a bit and forms a valve about 3/8" in from the tip called the "navicular fossa valve". After that, it opens up wider again as it goes down the rest of the penis shaft. I finally came to the conclusion that the meatotomy would have to be on the underside of my penis and far enough down the head to open the urethra past this valve. I decided that this was not for me. So, I stopped cutting and went back to expanding, even though the pain was still pretty great on insertion. My efforts continued over the next several months. Eventually, I was able to wear my Tube a few days a week for up to four hours. Then after almost a year it finally started getting easier to insert. It used to take me several pushes, with short breaks between each one so I could catch my breath and gain more courage to push it in further. Soon I was able to slide it in with one try, but it still produced an uncomfortable burning pain as it went in.

I tried different lubes to see if it would help. I found that a dab of K-Y Jelly mixed with a drop or two of Betadine Iodine solution works well for me. I've been given suggestions to try something thicker, like the lubes used for anal-sex. The most common of them are water-based and contain glycerin as the main ingredient. Some name brands are ID, Probe (Thick and Rich formula), Wet, Foreplay Lube de Luxe (gel or cream). And, there are glycerin free ones like Maximus, Slippery Stuff Gel. And also, silicone-based ones like ID Millennium, Eros, Wet Platinum. Don't use these with condoms or sex toys since they will get dissolved torn and/or ruined. I haven't used any of these on my Wands or Tubes, but they may be worth a try. Someone also recommended that I try a product used by cyclists. I have no idea what they actually use it for - something about lubing their shorts to reduce the friction and cut down on the chafing caused by riding on those small seats. Anyway, there are several different brands. Ask your local cycle shop for Chamois Butter or Bag Balm - believe it or not, that's what it's called. There is one that I did try that is made from all natural ingredients and works fairly well. It's brand name is Sixtufit Olympia and is called Gesass Crème.

I want to explain a bit more about Wand and Tube materials. My only experience has been with metals, though I know of someone who is using plastic. My homemade "trainer" Wands and Tubes are made of either zinc or aluminum. I chose these metals because they are easy to work and shape with common hand tools. Neither of these are preferred for long term use. Especially aluminum, which is too soft, and can't be polished smooth enough to reduce friction to the point of comfort. Also, aluminum and some other metals can be bio-reactive. That means that a small amount of their molecules will get absorbed into your tissues and travel throughout your body. Stainless steel is the best way to go, in my opinion. So, if you decide to wear a Wand or Tube on a regular basis, I recommend having one custom made out of implant grade stainless steel.

After about a year of trying different designs I finally decided on the dimensions for my P Tube. I was originally planning to order it from Silver Anchor, but that website is down. It's been gone for over 6 months. And it doesn't look like it will be back. Fortunately, I did have one other promising referral for Design Machine Technologies http://www.design-machine.com in Canada, so I checked them out. We did the usual back-and-forth e-mail tag. Then I finally sent in my specs and a very reasonable $166 U.S, and then waited for delivery.

It took just a little over a month to get it into my hands, or into my dick, as the case may be. It was caught up in U.S. Customs for a while, which is what probably caused the delay from the anticipated 2-3 weeks. Now, I'm really curious. I'd love to find out what they thought it was? And if they did know, what kind of a reaction did they have? Anyway, I was actually at the mailboxes on the day it arrived. I saw the mail-carrier with a large yellow paper envelope in his hands as he was getting closer and closer to my mailbox, which is one of 50-60 boxes at my apartment complex. My heart started pounding. Then I saw him put it in my box. I practically jumped into the air with excitement. My nervous fingers somehow managed to get the key in and open the door to the next chapter in my wonderful adventure in P Wands. I didn't dare open it right away. My hands were shaking as I took the envelope upstairs, and then, just savored the anticipation. Slowly, I began peeling back the label which was taped to the opening end with the words in bold "EXAMINED BY U.S. CUSTOMS" on it. It was just like a slow strip-tease followed by some thrilling foreplay, and finally, consummation. I delicately pulled out the long narrow cardboard box and slowly opened it. I had a raging hard-on by then. When my eyes finally landed on the shiny metal jewelry that I was about to slide into my dick, my heart started pounding even harder. I couldn't take my eyes off of it. And, I couldn't believe how beautiful it was. It was as shiny as a mirror and as smooth as glass. I couldn't wait to put it in. I washed it with soap and hot water, then soaked it, as was my usual ritual, for 45 minutes in a hot water and Betadine solution. When it was ready, I lubed it up and slid it into my dick with ease. It took about 20 minutes to get the PA bolt in place the first time. I ended up using the threading end of a needle to feel around my PA piercing so I could align the P Tube bolt hole with my PA hole. After that, I screwed the bolt in place and wore my new Tube for over 6 hours. It was so comfortable that I expect to be able to wear it for days at a time, including overnight, in the near future.

Even though I've had my ups and downs over the past year, I'm very happy with my Prince's Wand Expansion Project. And if you decide to try this extremely satisfying and challenging activity, I hope that by reading about my experiences your own Wand and/or Tube adventures will be just as exiting and fun as mine have been.
