The idea of body piercing really interests me, however, I'm not the type of person you'd expect to be into that sort of thing. To most people I come across as a boring, bland sort of a bloke and I'm frequently categorised as the 'quiet type'. I quit drugs, alcohol and smoking when I was 16 after some good advice from a beautiful girl and since then I've been considered by most; a dork. Someone even once diagnosed me as having 'no personality at all'. I resented this image I'd made for myself, so I got my tongue pierced to prove not only to everyone else, but to myself that there was another side to me.

But with an army career not far away, I had to think of a piercing I could keep hidden in order to pass the medical examination. The answer, of course, lay south of the border as it were. The only genital piercing I had ever heard of was the Prince Albert, which I really didn't like the sound of, especially with an uncircumcised penis. After finding this website, I discovered the world of genital piercing didn't end there. I had a look around and found a pubic piercing was exactly what I wanted. I could easily keep it hidden and is apparently one of the more attractive piercings to look at. The more I learned about it, the more I wanted one, so one Friday morning that is what I set out to do.
I caught the bus into town and headed to the same place that I had my tongue done. I firstly asked about prices and found out for a little more than the cost of a single pubic piercing, I could get a double. I didn't even need to think about it before agreeing. I took a seat among several other experienced-looking customers and watched the people come and go until my name was called. I was shown into a little room where a girl about the same age as me offered me a relaxing lavender head massage, which I politely refused. I was then told to take everything off from the waist down and put on a paper robe, which I did. The girl then left which made me wonder why she didn't leave BEFORE I got naked. But being naked around strangers was something I was quickly forced to overcome as three women entered the room and sat on stools around me. "We all like to watch these sorts of piercings", one explained.
I smiled nervously as she began to swab my patch with disinfectant, which I hadn't completely shaven, but trimmed to about 5mm. I explained to her that I wanted the two piercings one above the other, one vertical and one horizontal so it makes and upside down T. The vertical one was about 25mm long and would be about 100mm below my naval and only about 10mm above the base of my penis. The horizontal one was 20mm long and would actually be on the base of the penis about 10mm from the end. She doodled around with a marker for a while until we both agreed on good positions for both of them. She then reclined my chair and fiddled with her clamps and things while making small talk and cracked jokes about my situation with the army. Then mid-sentence she tells me to take a deep breath... then jab! She pushes the needle through on the horizontal one first. I tried to look but I didn't want to fidget at a time like that. She finished her sentence as she screwed the ball onto the bar. The second one came with as little warning as the first but was over just as quickly. She propped my seat back up and I admired her handiwork. They looked fantastic and the other girls in the room agreed. They handed me my pants and I got dressed very carefully. I thanked all the girls even though all they did was watch and I waddled out as if I was some sort of retarded cowboy.
It is hard to describe the sensation of this particular piercing as it isn't really painful apart from the split second the needle enters the skin, which pretty much feels exactly as you imagine it would. But afterwards it feels the same as if you set two beetles on fire and told them there was an extinguisher buried under your skin. It isn't a bad feeling though, and I found it almost enjoyable.
It's now two days after I had it done and I can't feel them at all anymore except when they are bumped or rubbed. I am very concerned that they will grow out but they aren't showing any signs of that yet luckily. I am taking every precaution with cleanliness i.e.: salt baths and changing underwear regularly. I am also using ice to reduce swelling which hasn't really been an issue anyway.
It helped me cast off the impression that I am a boring dork and I hope that I'll be able to slip it past my medical examination, because I'd be heartbroken if I had to remove them. Overall I am extremely happy with my double pubic piercing and would recommend it to anyone that is thinking about a genital piercing or any piercing at all for that matter!
