I got the idea to get a pubic piercing after one very long night of drinking. Since the idea was in my head I stuck with it. All of my friends who know me know that I am the least likely person to ever get pierced, especially anything down there. Coming from a very conservative family, I knew if I got anything pierced that was visible, my parents would kill me. If they knew I got a piercing down there they wouldn't even hesitate to take a pair of pliers and rip it out.

Having only one place in town that does piercings, I went there to see if they were willing to do it. The lady was a total Bit(h. She told my friend who went there with me that she gets to pick and choose who she pierced and that we need to research and come back. I had done research because I had actually found this website the week prior. Leaving that piecing studio very pissed off I went home and turned in for the night. In the morning I still had the idea in my head so I started to call piercing places in Lansing, the closest big town that I knew would actually have piercing studios.
After calling several places in the Lansing area, they all pointed me in the direction of Splash of Color. I drove down there and walked into the studio where I was immediately impressed with how professional it looked. The staff there is amazing! They were all willing to talk to me and help me out in any way with questions that I had. I talked to a guy named Emeri about the pubic piercing. He informed me of the procedure but also told me that even though he has done a few before, I should wait for Kevin who has done a lot more pubic piercings then anyone there. I left my name and number for Kevin to call me when he got back and left a little disappointed because I just wanted to get this done before I changed my mind.
Kevin called me on a Monday morning and I made an appointment to see him later that afternoon. Arriving at the studio I was nervous but also excited. I was taken back to the room where I was told to drop my pants and boxers to where I was comfortable and lay back on the table. Looking around I was very impressed how clean everything was and this only helped ease my mind about what was about to happen. It was a new experience for me to whip my dick out in front of a guy and have him move it around and touch it. A little freaked out I just tried on concentrate on the posters that were on the walls. He cleaned up the area and marked it as I asked the normal questions like "how much is this going to hurt?" Right before the piercing I asked him if anyone had ever passed out on him because that's what I felt like doing. He told me to take a few deep breaths and before I knew it the needle was in me. It was a quick, sharp pain that was done in less then a second. Then he put the curved barbell through which also felt a little weird but only for a second. The pain was nothing! I was more freaked out before it happened then during it. It only lasted a few seconds and I was done. I got to stand up and look at it in the mirror. This is one bad ass thing to see! I couldn't believe what I had just done.
I got back to school where I took it easy for the rest of the night. The next morning I looked at it in the mirror and it was awesome! No blood, no redness, no swelling, nothing! It was great. I had class all day on Tuesday and I was a little nervous about how it was going to feel that day. It never hurt. I only told one of my friends but somehow, by the end of the day it seemed like my entire circle of friends knew what I had done and were calling me asking what the hell I just did. Everyone seemed really interested in seeing it but I have only shown a couple people.
I recommend this piercing to anyone thinking about getting it done. This piercing definitely got my hooked. I hope to go back to Splash within the next few weeks to get a PA. (Can't wait to show that to my friends!) If you're in the Lansing area Splash of Color is the way to go!
