This is the story of my second, but still favorite genital piercing. Never wanting a PA I had always thought I was restricted when it came to genital piercings but I have found now the options are seemingly endless.

Through our conversation we came to piercings when my friend Bex started raving about the fun loving goodness of pubic piercings when positioned correctly, and the benefits it had for a female during sexual intercourse. The idea intrigued me greatly so I decided at that minute I was going to get it done.
I phoned my favorite studio (The Piercing Urge Melbourne) and spoke to Pete. He said he would gladly do the piercing but warned me of risk of migration due to the pressure put on a standard curved barbell in this area. He also seemed a bit amazed that within a few days of my first genital piercing I was already ringing up for another one. Anyway, I threw caution to the wind (as I usually do) and made my way down there.
When arriving Pete went through the usual piercing disclaimer then asked me to lie on the bench. Dropping my pants and positioning the new frenum I lay still whilst Pete marked me up. As he was preparing the jewellery and needle he told me that he was going to pierce deep as to allow the curved bar to display only the ball ends. Having never had a 10g piercing before he also warned it may hurt slightly.
I lay breathing and awaiting the usual count down that usually happens before the piercing when out of the blue Pete pierced me. Now I am good with pain but I can say this hurt. Within seconds I was in endorphin city and marveling at my new pubic. The pain was only very brief and soon I was standing in front of the mirror grinning like a fool at my new 10g bar. According to Pete it also served another purpose as my pants (which I usually wear low) had to be pulled up higher due to the threat of rubbing on the area, so he is now pioneering this piercing to stop the "young" people from having such baggy clothes :P
For the rest of the day it was a bit sensitive and I found the endorphins had made it rather difficult to balance well (I don't recommend trying to drive in peak hour after this piercing :P) but it soon became part of me and the tenderness went away. For after care all I did was wash the area with micro shield antiseptic whilst having a shower and rotating the bar slightly to make sure it did not stick to the healing skin. Now despite the warnings of high migration chances six months have passed and it is still perfect. Only one incident has happened when the bar dropped out during sex and I had to get it tapered from a near closed 14g hole back to 10g. I recommend now tightening the ends every night as I thought the piercing hurt... there is nothing more eye opening than a sudden taper up two sizes I have to say.
All in all I highly recommend this piercing. My girlfriend loves it as it rubs against her clitoris when divulging in sexual intercourse and the aesthetics are great (I sometimes put two 1" spikes on the ends and pretend I am a bull fighter... but that is another story altogether :P)
This is definitely a piercing I would recommend to anybody starting out with genital piercings who may be nervous about piercing the actual shaft. I now have a 4 barbell scrotal ladder, a stretched to 10g frenum and am about to start with a frenum ladder. Yet even with all these I admit I still love my pubic piercing the best. The only problem is having to pluck the hairs around it as I am paranoid about putting a razor anywhere near the folds of skin that hold the bar in.
If you go to get this piercing done I recommend measuring yourself up first as it works great for female stimulation if positioned near the clit during sex. I have seen many piercings that basically are for aesthetics only, not saying this is bad but if you have that extra use then you are going to love this piercing much more.
