Sometimes the mind wonderes into the realms in which you don't want it to realm. In the body piercing world the mind does just that. Fortuanately most of the people (hopefully) are all somewhat sane with the realms that the particular minds tend to creep. When the ears are all full, then it goes to the face and the tongue, and then into the torso area then where???? Yes!!!! The most fabulous place of all the genital area.

Quite possibily the best area to go into. Because no-one will be able to see what you have done, no hiding from parents, the significant other will be very impressed with your performance, and also it's just one more thing to play with when you are sitting in the cubicle and you are thinking to yourself: "I kind of like this feeling and I would really be going crazy right now if I didn't have this right now."

The experiences with all the rest of the body piercings that people get does not even compare to the genital area. One needle, A Piercer, A Piercee, 1 piece of jewelery, and a whole lota' flesh to work with, and a number of great times that comes with the new adornment...

The scrotum and the frentums were done siginificantly earlier than any of the other piercings I have. Needless to say, they really did'nt hurt at all. Surprisingly enough, I was pierced 3 at a time in these two places; just to give you an example. I was pierced 3 times in the scrotum all at once, then a month or so later I had the other 3 done at once. Same expierence with the frentums.

Since the scrotum latter, and the frentum latter; I was due for a "different" piercing. The fact that the ampallang, and apadravia looked way fresh; but the endurance that one has to go through to get one of these particular piercings done; kind of turned me off. That is a pretty powerful piercing; even for a seasoned piercer to recieve....

Along came an idea!!!! How about the Pubic area????

The girlfriend had not done a piercing yet. I felt very comfortable with her doing it; just because she has been around the needle for about as long as I have.

Sure, I was a little nervous getting this area pierced, merely because there was firstly: a girl who has'nt done a piercing in her whole life, piercing a part of the body that a lot of people do not even talk about in thier daily lives, let alone getting a needle ran through it. Secondly: this is somewhat of a "meaty" area to go through, Ya! check it and see if I am kidding. See it is "meaty." The blood was pumping and here I was, getting my "stuff" pierced with a "begginer" piercer.

So, we went into the room where the procedure was to be taken place. I went ahead and prepped the area and swabbed it down. Then the best part of the whole procedure, the marking.

In this area, the marking and placement can and will be of great importance, if placed in the right area. If placed wrong, there will be complications: i.e. migration, irritable, and very susseptibile to infection.

We went ahead and measured with the sterile calipers and checked numerous times if the marks were aligned correctly. It took a couple of times checking and making sure everything was o.k.

I then assumed the position.

We apted to go with a 12g CBR to start out with; considering it is somewhat of a surface piercing. It would of eiasly migrated if we would of went with a smaller gauge.

The clamps were aligned properly, and the significant other was nervous as hell. I calmed her and reassured that everything was going to be all right. The needle was brought to the spot; she swiftly and cleanly ran the needle through. I was very proud of her and surprisingly enough; (a random cartlidge piercing hurts signficantly more than this particuliar piercing.) The ring was inserted very smoothly and the bead was put into it's little place.

The healing process was just the same as all the other stuff that you get a needle ran through. Just in a different place of the body that you don't want to talk about.

Merely using a liquid antibacterial soap is what I used to clean it with. Good ol' soap and water. If was though, a little bloody at first. That is because, there was a ring put through it instead of a classic curved barbell. So, needless to say there was a slight moving action during the night and whenever something touched it, it would move up and down, instead of keeping somewhat stationary.

Since then, the piercing has been nothing but great and satisfying. In fact, I'm contemplating 2 or 3 more just in the pubic area.

If anyone is even the slightest bit skeptical toward getting this done and just wants it so bad it hurts just thinking about it; and even a frentum or scrotum for that matter, they are nothing shy of a slight sting...
