It is a little difficult to write a story about getting a PA that hasn't been covered here, but I will try to give some difference so it is worth your time to read.

I have had several piercings over the past 8 years, my nipples 3 times, my sack, my shaft, my tongue (twice) and as of about 2 months they were all out. I was trying to show my son, who has some facial piercings that you need to act grown-up especially when starting a new job. In the end, he kept all of his and I had lost all of mine.
So I was upset that I was now piercing free, especially without a tongue ring, which I miss a lot. However I was recently promoted to the level of president of a division of a Fortune 500 company, so the 8 ga. tongue ring probably should have gone.
Anyway, enough background. Like others whose stories I have read here, I waited till my wife was away for a week before getting my PA. She has "put up" with my desires to have piercings and tattoos and always tells me to "stop competing with my son." I don't think that is what I am doing, as he has already won that game-
I decided to get this done on my way to a vacation house we have. So that meant that after getting my piercing I would be in the car for two to three hours. I packed a cooler with some ice packs so I could slide them down my pants while driving, I think this was a good idea and so far have not heard of people using ice after getting a PA, but what the heck, basic first aid calls for ice after an injury and lets face it getting a hole in your dick is an injury.
My experience on the table was the same as every other PA—the only thing I will tell you is I didn't look at all, didn't want to see what she was doing, she was nice, efficient, using very sterile techniques, so why should I look at the size of the needle and watch things going into a place you don't want to hurt.
As I tell people about piercings, and this one was no different, you are going to feel a few seconds of pain and it's done. In this case there were two times of pain, one was the preparing for the insertion of the receiving tube, and the second was the actual piercing. But in a short time I was pierced with a 10 ga – 7/8" CBR.
My piercer told me "great, you are not an immediate bleeder." As such she didn't put anything on the piercing. She told me I "might bleed that night, but chances are it would be the following morning."
I left the shop – pleased with the look and the little pain I was in. I drove down the street a little bit and then pulled over to put an ice pack down my pants and of course to look at my new ornament. To my surprise my underpants were full of blood and some had worked through to my jeans. Luckily I had brought a roll of paper towels with me, expecting some bleeding, and cleaned myself up. I also folded paper towel and placed it between my dick and my underpants . I then grabbed for the cold pack. I put that outside of my underwear and left my jeans opened.
I drove the next few hours without stopping. When I got to my destination I had to pee. I was nervous about this, but figured I didn't have much choice. I sat on the bowl and peed, and to my surprise I was fine, not only that time, but ever since. Yes there were a few clots in the water, but I never felt them come out.
The bleeding lasted that night and sporadically for the next two days, then it was done. I no longer need the paper towel or condom around a gauze bandage.
I was now into day three. I had been sitting and standing to pee depending on where I was. At the house I would stand, when I was somewhere with a urinal I stood. Peeing seemed to be going fine. The only issue I had was pain. I don't know why I didn't think I would be sore, maybe I didn't read enough about it on web sites- but the fact is I was in pain. Pain when I sat. Pain when I walked. Pain when I got an erection at night.
I started to think about my other piercings, and the light bulb in my head went off, that every piercing is sore and painful for a few days. Nipple by far the worst, but this one has started to give them a run for the money.
It is now 9 days since getting pierced. I am still sore, I think the kind of underwear has something to do with, tight underwear causes some discomfort, so do boxers, it seams like normal briefs might be the best. I have masturbated a couple of time, nothing special about it, maybe a little more nervous, but the feeling is the same. I can still pee standing up, but I have been told that I am not having a problem peeing as the piercing hole is still tight around the jewelry, so I will have to keep my eye on that. If anyone has any tricks about peeing with PA please let me know???
So like everyone else- I am glad I did it. It doesn't hurt that much to get it done, but I am still sore 9 days later and that is probably my biggest surprise. Hope this helped some of you older guys.
