Well, after doing a whole heap of reading about P.As, I decided to take the plunge.
At A Glance Author hottiedunedin Contact hottiedunedin@bme.anon When It just happened Artist Nic Studio IllicitHQ Location Auckland, New Zealand My partner and I are in a long distance relationship and it was my last day visiting him and seeing he wasn't going to see me naked before I left, I decided to pop down to Illicit on K'Rd in Auckland and see Nick to get my PA.
I am a fainter usually - so I thought that I should eat something beforehand - So I stopped off to get a banana and a powerade to keep my glucose levels up so that I didn't faint afterwards...
Nic was great and really helpful. Within 20 minutes my piercing was in - an 8 gauge which i LOVE the look of.
Surprisingly there was only one drop of blood after the piercing had gone through, however Nic put a glove over my cock and secured it with a rubber band.
TIP #1 - Have a Banana or some fruit 1/2-3/4 of an hour before your piercing is done
TIP #2 - If you are a fainter, try half a bottle of powerade before your piercing and some immediately afterwards, it will help you to bounce back if you are feeling weak.
Now, here comes the catch - I had a 4 hour flight at 2pm - it was now 11.30am by this stage. So in less than 2.5 hours I would be up in the air flying home. Nic said that he thought this should be fine, but best to invest in some panty liners. Walked straight to the chemist and purchased some (I have no shame!) and went to the nearest public toilet to apply one.
My first pee was only 15 minutes after the piercing... I sat down (as recommended) and started to piss. Seeing I had drunk so much water it didn't hurt at all and I was wondering what was wrong! Turned out, nothing was wrong! I peed just at the right time - before the piercing had really clotted so there was no clot to force out.
TIP #3 - Don't have coffee or asprin - they are blood thinning and you will bleed more!
I left the glove on while I was flying and I could feel some discomfort, however I was wearing shorts and also had the panty liner in just in case (paranoia is a good thing).
As soon as I was home after landing - because I had been drinking water still (about another 2 litres), I went for a pee and found the glove had a lot more blood in it, so I discarded it and decided to clean it for the first time.
The blood clot was still really soft and so it was easy to remove. After that, I decided to do my first salt soak for 10 minutes and this helped to stimulate the blood flow.
After that I wore boxerbriefs with a clean liner to catch the other blood (not too much), changed it before I went to bed.
Through the night I could feel my erections (I think I have a permanent hard-on during the night - hey... i'm still only 24!) and my penis was twinge-ing, so I got up at about 2am and had another pee. To my relief no blood had clotted inside the wound, so there was no discomfort at all.
TIP #4 - Try to pee as often as you can... this will stop a big blood clot from building up and make sure the wound is sterile.
In the morning, I woke to find that I needed a new panty liner (such a funny word), and I have been wearing this one all day - hardly any blood.
TIP #5 - If in New Zealand, try to get ANSELL antibac soap with moisturizer from your piercer - great soap to use twice daily - in addition, you should do 2 salt water soaks (1/4 tsp to 250 ml water) maybe one late morning and one late afternoon before cleaning with antibac soap before you go to bed.
I tried having a "play" with it this afternoon - only 24 hours after the piercing and it was amazing! Shot a huge load - very satisfying.
Am amazed at how painless it was and also how painless the aftercare has been - even though it has only been 36 hours, there have been no problems.
Tip #4 - If you are uncircumsized (uncut) I recommend rolling back your foreskin for the first 24 hours to allow the wound airflow - and try to be naked as much as possible to allow it to dry. Although I recommend sleeping if your underwear (with a liner) just in case the blood flows a little.
After 24 hours if you haven't had much bleeding, then push your foreskin forward to make it more comfortable (your ring won't move as much when it is covered with your hood).
Anyway, I hope this helps others out there - just go and get it done! I did it on the spur of the moment - with a CLEAN trained professional I might add... and I just hope that, in a month's time when my boyfriend sees me, that we will be able to have some fun!
Please don't hesitate to email me if you have any questions - would love to hear from fellow New Zealanders/Antipodeans!
