It's been a week since I had it done, but I have been talking about it for months, and thinking about it for almost a year. So I'll start at the beginning of the piercing artist search.

It started about a month ago when we found out my girlfriend would be getting surgery to get her tonsils out. So that means no sex for a few weeks anyways, might as well do the piercing then. We found a really good place near our college in Minnesota, and were planning on doing the piercing the Tuesday before she went home for the surgery. But when we went to Madison for Freak Fest on State Street, we were told that she would go home that weekend. Her mom would meet us in Madison to pick her up. So with hours notice we found Steve's Tattoo and Piercing. The place looked clean and friendly. Michael was the man to put a needle in my penis. Guys who haven't been pierced know the apprehension that goes through your mind at the thought of a needle in your penis.

For that month before I got it done I had an idea of the procedure of the piercing, would they put the needle down my urethra and exit out the bottom, or would the go up into a receiving tube, but wasn't sure. I asked a bunch of questions once I was back with Michael and my girlfriend and the curtain was closed. What's the procedure for this? Are there complications with me not being circumcised? Would a bent barbell be better to let the foreskin slide around the bottom ball? He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. He ended up explaining to me why he was choosing the barbell and the procedure for ten minutes after the curtain had closed. Then I dropped pants.

I was expecting a lot of discomfort with the receiving tube, but I hardly noticed it. I watched him put it in. He told me to get ready, he lined up the needle on his mark, told me to take a deep breath, I held my girlfriend's hand, looked into her eyes, and let my breath out slowly. I felt a slight pinch, but that was it. I looked back down and Michael had already pulled the receiving tube out and turned to get my 14g barbell. There was a needle in my penis and I had hardly noticed the whole procedure. He slid the jewelry in and put the ball on the end. Then I pulled my pants up. He handed me the things his shop hands out for piercing aftercare and explained what I need to do daily. At which point I ask a bunch of other questions. Then I finally did the painful part of paying. And I tipped the man who handled my questions and penis professionally. My other friends were thoroughly disappointed that they didn't get to hear me scream in agony. They know I have a high pain tolerance because when I play sober buddy for them, they try to give me a hang over by head butting me, the drunken ones feel more pain than me.

We went to the mall, and then I noticed blood on my pants when I went to the bathroom. So I wrapped it up as best I could and sat in Barnes and Noble while my girlfriend and her friends went shopping for half an hour. Till her mom picked her up and the rest of us came back to Minnesota.

Not to bad the first washing. The first night I woke up with morning wood, and pain. That was the most pain of the whole thing. My first hard-on. When I went to do my first morning wash, after the painful and bloody morning wood, I found all the blood of the pain had semi-congealed under my foreskin. Plenty of blood the first day, but now I keep it bandaged and inside a condom to keep my clothes from the blood, now it only gets a few drops between bathroom beaks.

My hope is that someday I might stretch it to a 10g. This is where I get into the really unknown. I do not know how long it takes the initial piercing to heal before I can start to stretch it. I do not know how long I should wait between gauges when I am stretching. And I even heard somewhere that there is a relation between the gauge and the strength of the piercing. My main worry is getting wild with the girl when it's healed and ending up ripping it. If someone has these answers they would be greatly appreciated.

For now that is my story on getting my first and possibly only piercing. I might post an update in the future.

PS: Don't tell my mom.....
