We get to the studio, I walk in and say "I would like to get a PA today." The man at the counter says "Ok" and shows me the jewelry. I really had my heart set on an 8 gauge but Natasha (the piercer) said that an 8 would bleed much more than a 10. I decided to go with a 10 because, clearly, Natasha would know better.
I singed the release, picked out the jewelry; a 10g captive bead ring, went over the after care instructions, and paid. All together that was $72 (jewelry, piercing, and tax).
Natasha brought me back to the room they pierce in and I changed into some looser hanes boxer briefs and got up onto the table. I had my underwear around my knees and dick just hanging out in the breeze. I just chatted with my friend and with Natasha who was very friendly. She started by numbing the inside of my urethra with a topical analgesic. That was uncomfortable but not unbearable. If you've had a urethral culture done you will know what it feels like. It was strange to see a wooden stick hanging out of the end of my dick. After that I stopped watching. She took out the cotton swab and waited a bit to let that work and set some things up. She marked the spot where she would pierce and I approved. Then she put the recieving tube in which, I'm told, is the most painful part. I didn't feel it at all, thanks to the lidocain. Then she put the needle through. There was a very brief, sharp pain which made me wince but nothing more and it was done. The whole thing took all of 5 mins and was not really painful at all.
After it was done she said I could look at it. I instantly loved it. My friend asked me to pick it up and turn it over so he could see it better. I did and with the combo of seeing the ring and touching myself... I started to get hard. I was so embarrassed and quickly explained that I wasn't a pervert. Natasha didn't seem to care and it was all fine.
Natasha wrapped some gauze and paper towel around the piercing. I put my jeans back on, tipped her $10 and left. Walking was strange because of the wad of paper towel but generally not painful.
I went to my friends place for dinner and when I peed the first time it looked like I'd had my first period. That was strange but not distressing because I was prepared. I was also prepared for it to hurt but there was only mild stinging. I didn't even wince.
That night I had to sleep with a condom on which didn't really bother me and it's a good thing I did because the gauze on the inside of the condom was saturated when i got up to pee. Touching the ring was a little painful. I bled for 36 hours total and then things seemed to clot fine.
It's been a week and some things hurt. If the ring gets hit or twisted a little it definitly hurts. Peeing is fine, aim sucks but I can use a urinal with no problem. I've cum twice and both were great, though, after the 1st time I started to bleed again. I have small amounts of discharge that stay on the ring... they don't get my underwear messed up. I just have to clean it and I do salt soaks from time to time.
It's been a great experience and I love the piercing. I'm looking fwd to going up to a bigger gauge.
