I have had my one and only piercing since May and I think it is great. It was pierced at 10g and had a 25mm BCR in for a while but being a BME reader I realised it would not be the end of the experience.

The stretch to 8g was painful and took an hour or more but the stretch to 6 was something else!
I waited a month after the first stretching before stretching again as I didn't want to rush it. I used the same technique as the first stretch but failed. I tried again a week or so later but this time I bought some Emla cream and some Xylocain to hopefully give some pain relief.
I put on the Emla first and left it for a while then tried with the pin. It was though the Emla had no effect what so ever. I got the pin about ½ way through before having to give up. It was as though the hole had reached its limit and was not going any further.
Again I waited a week and tried the Xylocain sprayed directly on the hole. My glans were totally numb which was a weird feeling. I got out the lube again and started to push the pin through. It started to hurt immediately, it was trying to tell me something wasn't it? Again I failed and got really pissed as I am not generally a patient man and I want it done now!.
I asked a few questions around BME and submitted a pic of my piercing, NOT SAFE FOR WORK It was agreed that it was scar tissue surrounding the hole and therefore very un-flexible and the advice I got was to wait. So I waited. While I was waiting I applied Bio Oil to help break down the scarring.
A few weeks have gone by and the scar tissue has been visibly reduced, time to try again.
Out come the pliers and I drop the ball out of my BCR and the new one too. I get in the bath and add some tea tree oil to the water, wash my hands in anti-bac soap and soak for a bit.
Once warmed up I drop the ring out and already I start to cringe remembering the last two attempts. I insert the stretching pin into my urethra and find the hole out. I get it about one third through before it resists and starts to sting. Keeping it lubed up with some almond oil I keep turning the needle and gently push it in farther. I get to halfway without too much pain and am feeling very positive. I run some more hot water into the bath and let my willy rest for a bit before proceeding. I get to the point where the pin is about to disappear into my urethra and decide to rest again. I get out of the bath and go downstairs to my arm chair and laugh at the Mrs as she looks at my willy and cringes at the sight of a 4 inch pin sticking out.
I was quite happy to wander around and get myself a beer while my stretch relaxed a little, but at one point the end of the pin where you place the new jewelery digs into the inside of my urethra and makes me jump a mile, it was a very careful fiddle to line it back up.
I sat back down and made myself comfortable as the last bit was bound to be the worst. I used some Bio oil and KY to lube it up and started turning it again while gently pushing. It felt as though it was right on the end of the pin so I tried putting the ring in and pushing but it felt painful and just not right. It was this moment that I ordered the PA bar for as it would be easier to push, unfortunately BJS sent the wrong size bar so I had to used the BCR.
I sat back in the chair and let it all relax again and I was just holding it when the pin just fell out! I then slid the ring into my urethra and tried to find the hole. It was somewhat tender in there so it was done very gingerly. After a little fiddling I tried from the other direction but it would not go through. I was not going back to the 8g after all this so I eventually decided that I would just have to push or go through it all over again. I did and it went through. It was painful for a brief moment and then just continued to sting.
I got the pliers out and fitted the ball, that was a fiddle in itself. Now I needed a wee, that stung, it stung even more than when I first had it pierced.
The actual act of piercing hurt like hell but it was for only a few seconds, stretching is a long drawn out pain so next time I will get pierced at a larger size to start with.
It is now 24 hours after and the stinging has gone but it is still tender. If the Mrs jumps on me I will squeal, or maybe not :-)
I am now sitting here wondering when I can go to 4g.
