Well I finally did it, I have a Prince Albert piercing!

In spite of this, various circumstance have got in the way. For as long as I can remember, I have wanted my ears pierced but being from a conservative family, where not even the females had pierced ears, this was out of the question. When I traveled overseas a few years ago, I summoned up the courage to have my ears pierced, I enjoyed the experience of having them pierced and wearing earrings, but I removed the earrings shortly afterwards as I was concerned what others would say. A few few years later I again pierced my ears, this time my wife, surprised that I would have my ears pierced, frowned on the piercing and they were soon removed. She has her ears pierced but does not consider it appropriate for her husband to have his ears pierced.
I couple of years ago, a close friend went through what I call his mid life crisis, he got a tattoo, left his wife and shortly after moved in with a younger woman. He then started wearing an earring again in his left ear that was pierced whilst at Uni but remarkably had not closed up in the years since, not so surprisingly as it was a regular occurrence for him to wear one of my wife's earrings late in the evening after a dinner party. There was however, no red sports car. Move on two years and another tattoo for my friend. My wife and I were out for dinner with our friend and his not so new partner and he suggested that he was going to get his right ear pierced. I felt jealous that his partner supported him having his ears pierced but my wife would not let me wear earrings. I considered getting a piercing but nothing happended for a few months until today.
As you get older, you no longer care what others think and today I got a Prince Albert piercing and I couldn't be happier. I had previously thought that a PA might be a fun piercing to have but never really considered that I would actually go through with it. Today I did! I arrived at my hotel last night. It was late when I arrived, however but I decided to go for a walk to get something to eat. Whilst out I saw a sign advertising Flesh Impressions Body Piercing and thought that it might be the right time to finally get my long awaited piercing. There was never really any thought as to what I would get pierced as it was either my ears (which I couldn't hide from my colleagues) or a Prince Albert. Therefore, I decided to finally go through with my fantasy of getting a permanent piercing in the form of a Prince Albert. The shop was shut that evening but it only deterred me for a short while.
This morning when I awoke, I decided that today was the day. The hotel close to Flesh Impressions so visited when it was open. John, the piercer, asked what I was after and I advised that I wanted a Prince Albert piercing. I was so nervous that I could hardly fill out the paper work. Once completed, John took me into the piercing room and proceeded to prepare for the piercing.
I have read numerous stories about PA piercings on BME and mine was much the same. John explained that he would insert the receiving tube into my penis and that it would be a bit uncomfortable. John told me that it was important to remain still as this would reduce the time and pain of the piercing. John advised that once the receiving tube was in place he would then perform the piercing and insert the ring. I was shaking whilst the receiving tube was inserted. This was a little bit uncomfortable but not unbearable. John then discussed the piercing which relaxed me and told me that on the count of three he would perform the piercing. On three there was a pin prick, which hurt a little but not much. The ring was inserted and there was a little blood but that was soon cleaned away. I was then told that I could get dressed and John explained the cleaning instructions.I then paid and left the shop.
I don't lack confidence, but walking around knowing I have a Prince Albert piercing through my penis adds confidence and I love it. I recommend getting a PA piercing to anyone who is considering it but putting it off for one reason or another.
